5 or 6 players in our two deep in the front four will be true freshmen. Will Danny o move to offense? Also, we need to start thinking in terms of playing 4-2-5. We will not play as many linebackers. We are going to move around a lot and take more chances.

If this is news to you, I gotta wonder where you've been for the last year

This information isn't surprising and just further indicts Dooley as the worst coach in UT's history. My guess is Maggitt and Vereen will start as DEs and two of of Saulsberry, O'Brien, J. Williams, and O. Williams will start. Barnett and Hendrix will cycle in at DT in all likelihood. I think Henderson will cycle in at DE.

Sawyers and Robertson might make it into the DT mix. Weatherd and Jakob Johnson can be LB or a DE. If Bates is ready, then perhaps DE.

Think Hendrix stays at SDE and Mixon or Sawyers jumps in at DT.

CBJ has said 9-10 freshmen will start. We young.

I've never heard him say this. As a matter of fact, he said this morning, while talking about the defense only, that he expects to see 5 or so Freshmen in the 2 deep in defense. He didn't really address which freshmen might start outside of saying he thinks a freshmen will start at safety opposite Randolph. Onviously, it appears Moseley will start at CB opposite Sutton. Also said only 3 seniors would start on defense..... AJ at LB, Williams at DT and Randolph at S.

If this part is true, which I think it is, Oklahoma's stunting blitz happy D is going to get 10 sacks, force 6 turnovers, and give their offense 5-6 really short drives for scores.

Let's see how much Blair improves with S&C training.

Striker had Kounjous number in Sugar Bowl. That was most of the sacks/TFL.

This will be our biggest Oline test of the season though. If they get less than 4 sacks, I think we win that game. McKnight isn't as good as the hype. And their RB position might be hurting due to graduation/ beating up girls.

Randolph is a lock at SS but not sure McNeil keeps his starting job. I could definitely see one of the talented youngsters challenging him for the starting job.

Randolph is a RS Jr but it seems like he's been here for 10 years.
I'm thinking he was talking about J.Williams, A.J., and T. Saulsberry.

Impossible at this juncture. even for discussions.

LOTS of first year players will be all over the 2 deep on both sides of the ball. No way to know which of these can adapt faster to get a second team slot.

I doubt anyone will be able to project by mid-August.

Not impossible, but maybe a better question would be which projected started gets uunseated, which freshman would start etc

DT position is scary. One injury away from being a train wreck on defense.

I feel pretty good about the 2 deep at DT with
T. Saulsberry and O. Williams
Backed up by
D. O'brien and J. Williams
Especially if we can get a freshman or two to step up.

I dont see Pig starting over Pearson in the slot, Pearson is bigger and almost as athletic as CP. That is going to be crucial. I see Pig battling the starting spot for PR/KR tho he has been getting some reps there.

Yea not overly talented by any means but I think they will be servicable. Also saw some good things about Owen Williams and Jordan. IMO T. Saulsberry is the best of the 4.

Serviceable.... Few people get excited with that term.. On Par with fit to use..
