I don't expect us to win anything. I expect us to be able to win everything.

All right people lets take a deep breath. Now, We are not going 10-2 or 9-3 just hope for a bowl. I know it's nice to have hope for the first time in a long time and yeah i'm excited about what Butch is doing but one doesn't just hop up to the top of the sec east after what our program has been through.

I am going to predict scores too but that isn't part of my 90% deal !!

Austin Peay : VOLS win 45-10 (Total Domination)
Western Kentucky: VOLS win 28-14 (Some resistance but common)
Oregon : VOLS Win 35 -21 (Seems impossible now but watch out)
FLorida: VOLS WIN 38-18 (Here is why 90% accurate, I know not happening but can't even think of Florida winning..)
South Alabama: VOLS Win 43-12 (K-town starts C-game dreams)
Georgia: VOLS Win 23-14 (Vols are top 5 after this game)
South Carolina: VOLS lose 28-21 ( Spurrier stings again)
Alabama: VOLS Lose 35-18 (not as close game as score suggests)
Missouri: VOLS Win 23-18 (Ugly win )
Auburn: VOLS Win 28-12 (Not as close as score suggests)
Vanderbilt: VOLS Win 45-7 ( Butch Jones sings "tennessse always butch slaps Vandy)
Kentucky: VOLS Win 28-18 ( No matter what Stoops coaches them..they are still kentucy)

VOLS GO 10-2 (9-3 realistic)..Do not make it to SEC game..play OUTBACK BOWL !!:hi:

Isn't saying "usually 90%" like saying "average between 3-4"? Lol jk but seriously you are crazy. No way Vols beat both Georgia and Florida but lose to USC???

O and not to mention how does UT beat Florida and Georgia, go 10-2 but get beat soundly by Bama?

I do think Tennessee can upset Oregon. Oregon will have a new coach also. You also have to remember that Oregon is not a great defensive football team. This could be a game where it is 48 - 45 & the underdog wins on a late turnover!

College football experts disagree with you.:ermm:

Wow, I have to say all of this 8-4/9-3 talk scares me a bit. I feel like when all the fans see a 5-7/6-6 record for next year, all the flamers are going to come out of the wood work and start barking at CBJ. Look, even Nick Saban coaching our team could not take us 9-3 next year. We simply will not have the talent on offense to be able to match up against teams like oregon, florida, georgia, and alabama (4 losses right there easy). And it will be tough to win games against South Carolina, Vanderbilt (sadly), and even Auburn.

The point I am making is don't keep your head in the cloud for so long that you forget what it is like being on the ground. CBJ is bringing a lot of enthusiasm to the program, but we got to give the guy a chance.

Everybody has their own predictions. Not going to laugh at a fellow Vol fan that believes in this Tennessee team. I might not agree on the W/L record completely, but to think that it's completely out of the ordinary for this team to have a strong finish is simply not true. Look at A&M last year for example. I remember everyone saying the same thing about them. They'll be lucky to go 6-6 with a new coach, and playing in the SEC for the first time ever. What happened? They went on to go 11-2, Beat a national championship winning Alabama team in their own house, and their redshirt freshman QB won the heisman. Who predicted that? It all comes down to how well this team buys in, responds, and developes into a championship driven football team. Coach Jones is prepping this team for winning football, and has them buying in. If we play with heart and passion, this team can win. It'll be a tough year, but Jones will have them up to the challenge. Tennessee football is on it's way back.

90% of statistics are made up. Damn, no wonder why it was so hard to pass that class!!

But on the other hand ...I see what you did there and it would be hella good if you ended up changing your name to Nostradamos.

The unknowns mean that Vol fans shouldn't get hung up on W/L record. Instead, they should look for competitiveness, improvement, discipline, etc...
