OSU is not a typical night game. They rarely play night games there. The team and fans will be out of their element.

That is what I am hoping - they are used to noon games where the temperature is higher and sun is shining.

Let's be realistic here....There is no reality where the powers that be in college football allow UT to beat Ohio State in Columbus in the first round of the playoffs. It doesn't fit their narrative. Be ready for about 100-120 yards in penalties called against the Vols. I see at least 1 big score called back on us at the most inopportune time to shift momentum. We'll be playing 11 against 18 all night long.

Unfortunately, I see the Vols lose a close one 27-24.

I think this type of activity will be harder in a high-profile game with the world watching. Though I do understand the sentiment.

That said, I do think OSU and Tennessee are both high-profile schools with fan bases that travel well. Both would provide a high level of interest in the Rose Bowl, though OSU brings the revenge factor to the table from this year.

Still my biggest lament about the Georgia game. We respected Beck far too much. I would rather have brought the house a time or three and seen whether he could identify what that left open before he was on his backside.

It depends on two things: Nico and where the heads of the Buckeyes are at after their loss to Michigan. We need Nico to play the best game of his career to date, and we need the Buckeyes to doubt themselves. If we get both of those, we win. If either thing doesn’t go our way, we lose.

I think Nico has to play well and hit his open receivers. I don't think our ability to win is contingent upon OSU being in a mental funk, though. I think it is much more important for our DL to get constant pressure on Will Howard.
