Preds playoffs

Also, it looks like Erat will be back for game one. He practiced and Trotz said he could have played in a game 7. Very good news. I was afraid it was a concussion and that he would be out much longer. Dumont fill in nicely, but Erat is a real scoring threat.

This is the playoffs. You don't get tired.

Yep, its mental at this stage of the game. Vancouver will be fine from a physical standpoint. I expect a letdown from one of the teams tomorrow, not sure which, but the Preds have had extra time to work the emotions out

I'm looking at 3 or 6. Gotta work around finals. I wish I would have just bought them on the way out of game 6, prices have gone up in the last few days.

Vancouver can kill some penalties....we need to find a way to keep on the forecheck consistently

Do they let the home ice team in Canada play with 7? Looks like they always have an extra man. They look bigger, faster and handle the puck better tonight.

This is true. Thank goodness Pekka is having a stellar night. But I do like the scrappiness of the defense; even if it isn't good enough to stop the shots, it's at least giving Rinne time to get into position to stop them.

The offensive play has to get better than this if the Preds have a chance in this one.

Edit: ... and as I typed that, the Canucks score.

Yes, they seem to be two pretty evenly matched teams. Glad to see they both came to play.

They worry me for some reason, though...
Enenly matched is not at all accurate.....if rinne could score goals then we'd be fine. Because he's the only one keeping this close tonight. I did see a little life in tootoo and fisher, but they need help bad on the forecheck
