I demoted Haaland to vice captain this weekend. Hope that doesn’t come back to bite me. Salah against Bournemouth just seemed like a better choice for Captiano than Haaland against Newcastle.
I kept Haaland C but thought seriously about switching it to Declan Rice who is now my VC over Salah.

I also considered Mitoma for C.

I love Chris Wood and have won a couple of bets on him to score and even get a header. Nottingham Forest is easy to root for, especially since my Foxes are relegated. Makes me wanna cry. If Mitrovic leaves Fulham, I think I'm choosing The Forest as my new team.

The dreaded double post, went to check baseball scores, came back and it looked like I didn't post, but I did.

Choosing Leicester's biggest rival as your new team is certainly an interesting choice.

If you can afford the iFollow subscription, you should try and just continue following Leicester. While not as high profile, The Championship can oftentimes be more entertaining that the PL. Much more competitive, no VAR, lots of weeks where you play twice.

Is Fulham or NF their biggest rival? My EPL ignorance is shining thru. I try, but it's not like MLB, college/pro basketball and football, I didn't grow up on it

I was talking about Forest.

Leicester and Nottingham are only about 20 miles apart. Their other “local” rivals are probably Derby County. Maybe not as intense as some other local English rivalries, but I imagine the three teams often being spread across different divisions and not always playing one another on a consistent basis hasn’t helped.

The less intelligent way of looking at these things is if you support a blue team, you hate the red team.

Doesn’t look like a 9-0 repeat for Liverpool. Bournemouth up early.

Good first half at White Hart Lane. Spurs were incredibly lucky not to concede a penalty on Romero’s block or a goal when Bruno put his free header five feet wide, but equally unlucky at the other end when the hit the post/crossbar twice in ten seconds.

2 games in a row United just look.. average. They were lucky to get 3 points last week. Their midfield has been bad both games so far. Onana has been a bright spot for them though.

Spurs however have been lively. They are very susceptible on the counter but they have been good on the attack.

I’m ready for a top 4 slug fest between City and Newcastle. Of course that most likely means we get a 1-0 City win.
