With so many elite players going to the Saudi League including, Ronaldo, Neymar, and now possibly Salah, will you be watching their matches?

LFC would officially have the worst front office of all time if they managed to botch both CDM deals they were in on and sell their best player in the span of two weeks. I just don't see how the could collectively be that stupid, but I've been surprised before...

I picked Fulham as my new EPL team with the Foxes relegated. I'm a big Mitovic fan and love that an American, Bobby Reid scored a goal last weekend. But now, I see that Mitro was offered liked 43 million to transfer. How likely is that, in your opinions ?
Considering Mitovic is pushing for the move I’d say it’s definitely possible.

Just saw this. Ben Jacobs is a very reliable source. So, looking likely.

Good choice. Fun team to watch, although they may fall off somewhat this season if the Mitro deal finally goes through. But, at least they’ll have money to invest in January or next summer.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Bobby Reid is Jamaican.

Salah is 31, and nobody else in the world is going to offer what the Saudi teams are throwing around now. Liverpool don’t have bottomless City/United/Chelsea/Newcastle pockets, and honestly most of the squad could use an overhaul. Might not be the worst thing long term to strike while the iron is hot, cash in on Salah, and reinvest that money across 2-3 younger players. Obviously it’ll suck in the immediate term, but reloading the squad, sitting out of Europe next year, and going again fresh in a couple years isn’t the worst plan.

But, doesn't he play for the US national team ?

If this was the Liverpool front office of 1-2 years ago, I'd probably agree with you and feel confident about the direction the club was headed. However at this point in the transfer window and with the lack of landing any impact players other than those triggered by release clause (Mac Allister/Szoboszlai), I just think it would set them back several years. The frustrating part is that with a few good signings, I think the club is capable of playing top-four football in the EPL.

That said, I think Salah is loyal to the club and wants to etch his name among the greatest names to ever play there. He's almost there as it is...

Chelsea just can’t keep players healthy. It’s starting to feel like a deep dive into the medical team is needed. Reece has been injury prone the past couple years. Hate it for him. Just got named Captain too. Sucks.

Liverpool sign Wataru Endo. Knew nothing about him. After hearing how much Stuttgart will miss him and watching his highlights, I'm hopeful he will be decent. Seems to be a leader (Was Stuttgart's captain and captain of the Japanese international squad) and iron-willed. Also shows no fear in defense or challenges. Reminds me of Milner, but even more aggressive.

Still need further signings, particularly at CB and I wouldn't mind another young CDM to learn under Endo.
