Arsenal-Liverpool game was entertaining. Had some periods of wide open play but felt fairly open most of the game too. Probably a fair result.

Also, that 4 on 1 Liverpool attack where TAA nailed the crossbar was a Chelsea level attack 😂 only difference is we probably don’t even hit the crossbar or get a shot off somehow.

TAA and Darwin Nunez are two of the most infuriating players I’ve watched play in any sport. Immense talent, but they always seem to have the most puzzling missed opportunities…

No love lost for Liverpool here, but I thought they were pretty hard done by not getting a PK in the first half when Odegaard handled the ball on the edge of the box. Looked like an obvious handball to me.

I’m clearly bias but almost looked deliberate. Almost being the key word. I thought it should’ve been a penalty but it’s become increasingly more difficult to determine what is or isn’t a handball anymore based on the rulings and precedents set.

Said this yesterday, and then Chelsea go and prove me right 😂. This is even worse too. Plays like this is why we are where we are in the table. We’ve missed the most big chances in the PL so far this year. Even finish 10% of those and it’s probably the difference in being in European spots around 6th-8th and bouncing back and forth around 10th-12th.

You definitely called it. What in the heck was Sterling thinking there?

Player furthest to the side of Sterling was the black hole that is Nico Jackson. He’s probably accounted for at least 1/3 of the big chances missed. Sterling was probably thinking “guess I have to do this myself..”

Dumb decision though. That’s a tap in that I’m confident even Jackson finishes if it’s a proper pass.

As an Arsenal fan, I’d say it looked deliberate as well.

Really? I was pulling for Liverpool and I thought it was fine. Putting your hand out as you’re falling towards the ground seems natural to me. I thought it was just incidental (and fortunate for Arsenal) that the ball clipped Odegaard’s hand. I didn’t see much in it (a penalty for something that inadvertent seems like a gross overreaction in my eyes); I was surprised to see so many people fixating on it after the game.

Either way, I thought a draw was definitely a fair result. Both clubs had their spells of possession and it was an entertaining game from start to finish. I wouldn’t be surprised to see either one of them win the league in May.

During the game I thought it was fine it was afterwards when I saw a replay of him slapping the ball it felt deliberate.

Ah, I haven’t seen the replay. I’m just going off my memory of the game.

Either way, intent is difficult to judge from a slow motion replay. I still say a penalty would’ve been harsh.

trying not to get too down on Forest situation. They gotta bring in a striker in in January who can give them what a healthy Taiwo can deliver and I am not sure Turner is the answer in goal. Sad for Cooper but I guess he got longer than most would've due to fan support. Hopefully, Nuno can do something with the pieces that Cooper was not doing.

Your saving grace will probably be just how poor the bottom three are this season.

Speaking of which…it was before I really followed the PL, but it’s tough to wrap my head around how awful that Derby team that only got 11 points for the whole season must have been. Sheff U, Burnley and Luton this year are as bad as we’ve seen in while, and they’re all basically to that mark by Christmas.
