Premiere League & World Soccer Thread

There was a moment (can't remember what minute) where TAA was attempting to pass an extremely lazy ball back and Man U intercepted, attacked and got a corner out of it.

Van Dijk was staring holes into him. It made me wonder if something is going on behind the scenes there...
I know the exact moment you are referencing which is kind of shocking considering how many times TAA gave the ball away.

And lucky to get that far honestly. Tamworth had two good chances in the final minute and really should have won it.
Could have won it? Absolutely.

Should have won it? Not really. Those back to back chances at the end of the 90 were the only time they had a sniff at goal in 120 minutes. Tottenham had at least 4 or 5 decent looks up to that point and nearly 80 percent of the possession.

Tamworth defended admirably and played extremely well today (if they were playing anyone but Tottenham, I’d have been rooting for them too) but they weren’t ever really a threat going forward. Even playing with one CB today, I still think they would have struggled to score on us even if we’d played another 90.

Didn’t mean over the course of the whole game. CLEARLY Spurs were the better side. Just meant that those two chances at the end would have basically been a walk-off winner for them. No way back for Spurs if they’d conceded there.
