We will see where he really lands on policy and governance. Not doubting him. I’m certainly not a hater. I do want to see more.

BUT what I like about him is what I like about Vivek, Byron Donalds. etc. These guys are young, articulate and they have a sack. Paul Rino and Mitt Romney were articulate but Hillary had bigger balls they did. I’m excited about the future of our party.

Now how on Earth can you possibly say that about Vance when he did a complete 180 about Trump? Vance called him a "moral disaster" and might be "America's Hitler." And this was all less than ten years ago.

He is EXACTLY what GOPers claim they don't want -- a hypocritical politician willing to say anything to advance.

Reasonable people change their minds about other people all the time. However, Kamala did complete 180s on almost every POLICY position in order to try and get elected from fracking to the border.
So it is one thing to reevaluate your opinion of an individual. It is entirely another matter to change a core belief.
Does that make sense?

Vance was wrong. He admitted it.

That’s far more believable and noble than the democrats insisting Biden was “Sharp as a tack” until they could no longer keep up the charade. Far more believable than Kamala insisting she was this Centrist candidate while simultaneously supporting the far lefts agenda and parroting their talking points when pressed. And quite frankly far more believable than you changing your mind and becoming an Independent.

I’m not 100% sold but I like what I’ve seen so far. I don’t think he’s saying these things solely to advance his career. You do, but your TDS has gotten in the way of your ability to reason. So maybe just trust me on this one, Ace.

How about this.


You start a list of everything you’ve been right about since Trump declared he was running for President almost a decade ago. Now compare that to everything you’ve been wrong about. And you will see why you can’t trust your own opinions anymore.

Until then, I’m gonna take Vance at his word but I’ll watch closely. He wouldn’t have been my VP pick but he’s growing on me everyday. He dominated Walz in the debate. He’s talented. We see eye to eye on most policy positions, not all. I like where the ball lands.

A couple of weeks ago I made a quip about Vance calling djt hitler. Almost all my exposure to politics comes through this forum. Someone, maybe you, gave context to what and how Vance said that.

Have you looked into his change of opinion on Trump?

its my understanding that every department head in the US govt has been instructed to preserve all records of everything.
