It's quite incredible the amount of pages of this thread wasted on the Musk "Nazi" idiocy. These are going to be some interesting times if leftists are going to continue to melt down at every insignificant little thing they can try to manufacture into a big deal.
But I suppose this is really all they have at this point. I mean, what are they supposed to do, reminisce about the wonderful moments of the Biden presidency and how he made the country a better place to live?
Yeah I mean it may not happen in our market or most markets and most owners would rather liquidate than rent at a loss but it’s not some mathematical impossibility. It’s currently happening in Austin Texas and south Florida where supply is outpacing demand.LOL, take it from someone that rents, my cost of operating have doubled. I'm a nice guy but I'm not renting without making some sort of profit. If people can't rent their properties, I'm sure they'll lower rent or simply not rent or maybe repurpose it for commercial.
I'm not defending anything about his speech or hand motions, as there is nothing to defend.Yeah, like remember when Musk said "F U re****" after you defended him with your Hippocratic oath?
Now that’s a criticism you should take seriously. @kiddiedoc is intimately familiar with what it’s like to think completely unreasonable **** is reasonable. Or at least he would be if he weren’t insane.Yeah, like remember when Musk said "F U re****" after you defended him with your Hippocratic oath?
Trolling would be him now naming the new version of a Tesla car the Model SS. Trolling at this point, might be him doing it again to laugh at you. The initial thing is just people making **** up.Except almost nobody (was anybody?) was calling him a Nazi. I was making fun of him and calling him a troll. Who was melting down?
Agreed so let's end it correctly by an amendment.

1 in 13 American babies are born of illegal immigrants alone. Not even including legal immigrants. It’s a complete disaster way too far gone for 3/4 of states to ratify. a Supreme Court reinterpretation of the “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is probably the only hope.

So you want the court to reinterpret a phrase to make your political goal tenable.
What happened to wanting the court to adhere to the law, as written? I thought that was what the right insisted upon...
Maybe not, when they dont like the result.
I'm sure those border states will be effected more. Real estate in Knox County is astronomical. My daughter and her husband are looking for a larger tract, 10+ acres. They've been looking for a couple of years. Land in knox county is going for $20,000/acre or more. They're looking further out in neighboring counties where they have struggled to find anything buildable for under $10,000/acre and upwards of $20,000. I own 50acres on which I reside and if I were ready to retire (I'm close), I'd sell in a heartbeat.Yeah I mean it may not happen in our market or most markets and most owners would rather liquidate than rent at a loss but it’s not some mathematical impossibility. For sure.Sure but it goes both directions.
Nobody who hasn’t made up their mind about Musk says “Here’s a still photo of Hilary doing something vaguely similar and if there’s one thing we know about Elon it’s that he’s as buttoned up and serious as a career politician” and thinks that moves the needle for anybody else who hasn’t already made up their mind.
Birthright citizenship has been good for the US. The children of immigrants, no matter where they come from or how they got here, on average do very well (employment, income, paying taxes, starting families). Our birth rate is declining. Our labor force is getting upside down (in terms of how many people it has to support with retiring boomers collecting SS and Medicare). I can't imagine what our economy would look like right now without birthright citizenship the last 40 years. We'd be absolutely ****ed.

I'm saying that anyone who watched him yesterday and concluded that he was obviously making a Nazi salute is either FOS trolling or delusional/insane.
If the latter, this is a fruitless discussion. People with psychosis aren't pretending. They actually BELIEVE that they have a chip implanted in their abdomen, firmly enough that they will perform a self-laparotomy to retrieve it. They were ON TOUR with Van Halen, filling in for Alex. The voices are actual invisible beings. Leather and other animal- derived goods have spirits alive in them. (All personal experiences with real patients).
It makes it virtually impossible to converse/argue with them, and extremely difficult to treat. If you aren't just stirring the pot, there isn't any use in continuing the banter.
