LOL, take it from someone that rents, my cost of operating have doubled. I'm a nice guy but I'm not renting without making some sort of profit. If people can't rent their properties, I'm sure they'll lower rent or simply not rent or maybe repurpose it for commercial.

Yeah I mean it may not happen in our market or most markets and most owners would rather liquidate than rent at a loss but it’s not some mathematical impossibility. It’s currently happening in Austin Texas and south Florida where supply is outpacing demand.

I would have thought attacking a Federal officer would lend itself to some pretty significant charges. If they're caught and actually charged (which I think more likely now) I think it could be reality check. Birthright citizenship has been good for the US. The children of immigrants, no matter where they come from or how they got here, on average do very well (employment, income, paying taxes, starting families). Our birth rate is declining. Our labor force is getting upside down (in terms of how many people it has to support with retiring boomers collecting SS and Medicare). I can't imagine what our economy would look like right now without birthright citizenship the last 40 years. We'd be absolutely ****ed.

I'm sure those border states will be effected more. Real estate in Knox County is astronomical. My daughter and her husband are looking for a larger tract, 10+ acres. They've been looking for a couple of years. Land in knox county is going for $20,000/acre or more. They're looking further out in neighboring counties where they have struggled to find anything buildable for under $10,000/acre and upwards of $20,000. I own 50acres on which I reside and if I were ready to retire (I'm close), I'd sell in a heartbeat.

I didn't say "obviously" I said he's "probably" trolling and allowed for the possibility that he's just an awkward guy. But it doesn't matter what I say. People again and again in this discussion respond to whatever they would've liked me to say, because that's easier to counter.
