Ever seen 2 fat girls fight? First thing they do is close both eyes as tight as possible...then flail about wildly until, strictly by chance, 1 of their hands comes in contact with the other ones hair. Then its 2 hogs rolling around on the ground with death grips on eachothers hair. 11,000 calories burned in 2 minutes...no damage to either person except hair loss in chunks, and what was already ugly somehow got even uglier.

You can. Just about every street corner has homeless of all races looking for help. Bonus if they have a dog. You don’t need USAID to help feed starving people.

85% of social security payments being taxed for some is blatantly unfair.

I can get behind 50% being taxable since your employer (or yourself if self employed) got a deduction for it originally. But the limit should be 50%, not 85%.

Gotta cut the spending in line before we cut taxes like crazy. Cant keep running 1-2 T annual operating deficits. If Trump wants to get the spending budget back to a 2019 baseline, then sure. Until then, gotta do things in a fairer moderation..

I missed that caveat when you said you could get behind reducing the rate from 85 to 50. I got the sense you were appealing to what would be more fair - not what could be paid for.

Never forget social security was sold with this idea of a “lockbox” for the individual. Instead it was robbed from to feed the desires of Washington bureaucrats and policy around SS is used to redistribute wealth.

Give the people back what is theirs. The thieves in Washington should figure out how to pay for it.
