President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

right right right. I am sure none of the companies dealing with overseas officials receive any form of tax dollars. No government contracts, no government subsidies.

so in your mind its fine when the government taxes you, then the government spends your dollars, and then the company they spent it on end up going to bribery. but its not ok when your dollars are taxed and the government spends it on bribery. like I said you just wanted a middle man to make that bribery a little more acceptable. makes perfect sense.

sounds like your issue is with taxes, and not the bribery.

If you are trying to clean up anything you can't carve out areas where that thing you are trying to clean up is acceptable.

Wow. Slow the crazy and hysteria down little lady.

I'll be perfectly clear, IDGAFFOAS if a US company bribes a foreign official in the course of doing business. If we go down your ridiculous path and assume by bribing a foreign official part of that bribe will come back to a US official then prosecute them, that will still be illegal.

Federal Judge Threatening Trump Admin With Criminal Charges Over Spending Freeze Used To Be A Major Dem Donor

The federal judge who suggested Trump administration officials could face criminal contempt over the spending freeze on Monday is a Democrat donor.

John J. McConnell, Jr., chief judge of the U.S. district court in Rhode Island, ordered the Trump administration to “immediately restore frozen funding” after determining officials violated his prior restraining order and suggesting further opposition could result in criminal charges.

While he was in private practice as an attorney until 2009, McConnell donated hundreds of thousands to Democratic campaigns and political action committees, including 2008 presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Barack Obama, according to Federal Election Commission records. He also donated over $8,000 to Democratic Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse’s 2006 senate campaign.

McConnell volunteered as director of the Rhode Island branch of Planned Parenthood for four years, according to Roll Call. (RELATED: Dems Slamming Trump’s Spending Freeze Were Silent When Biden Weaponized Medicaid Against Red States)

Nearly two dozen Democratic state attorneys general sued Jan. 28 over an Office of Management and Budget memo directing agencies to pause payments for activities that might be implicated by recent executive orders, including orders on gender ideology and DEI. While the memo was rescinded, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote Jan. 29 the funding freeze had not been ended.

I ask again, can anyone explain how a mid level judge can assign a legit criminal action against a sitting president over a pause of money spent while investigating?

Congress needs to get their act together. Trump invoked the Impoundment Act and legally froze the spending. Now it is up to Congress within 45 days to rescind the spending. Doubt you would get one R to cross Trump, and may even pick up a few reasonable Dems..if not then damn the torpedoes and use nuclear option.

May even be some legal recourse for discretionary spending that hasnt been exactly purposed to be frozen as well. Think the strike down of Chevron. JMOs.

Every court has the power to find someone in contempt for failure to obey a court order. There are steps involved. Warnings to be given, and depends on the type of contenpte, ie civil (like a fjne) or criminal. Obviously, the latter is a higher standard.

Haven't you learned. If we do things then the DNC might do things..so let's keep the status quo and hope that the same people who put us in this position suddenly become altruistic and make changes that make them lose money and power and possibly freedom..its hard to argue with someone who idea is utopia and will never exist

so in other words, yes. its only the taxes you care about.

I care about both. and the problems you pay lip service to are related to this issue as well. regardless of how much you down play it.

you seem to think that US companies who use money to circumvent whatever laws and practices in one territory, will conveniently not also use money to circumvent whatever laws and practices here, just because we told them not to. makes no logical sense.

you are making the gun free zone argument. but but but we put up a "no bribery sign".

I'm pretty sure bribery is illegal in most every country so if caught I have no issue with the offender being prosecuted in that country. There is no damn reason for us to be prosecuting people for crimes committed in other countries that doesn't involve our country.

You're really being a dishonest idiot with this subject. You don't give a sh!t anymore than I do.
