President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Keystone had nothing to do with domestic production, processed oil from keystone was destined for export. Keystone had no negative effect on American gas prices.

Off-base again. Keystone XL heavy oil would have displaced the same product imported mainly from Venezuela. Here are facts to help you.

Different subject. The majority of our refineries are designed to refine heavy sour crude, for the most part WTI is a light sweet crude so most of our refineries cannot refine it. They need to be retooled so that they can refine WTI and that would be a years long billions of dollar project not even counting the permitting. Heck it would probably take 2-3 years and millions just to get the permitting approved before actual work would start. So why would the refining companies make that investment when 4 years from now they could be Keystoned by the next administration?
Seeing as converting those refineries would benefit the US greatly by being able to process our own oil..would you be opposed to tax breaks for conversions??? Also if the EPA regulations are removed would that possibly encourage conversions as well or isn't strictly the unknown of changing parties in power?

I generally oppose “tax breaks” targeting specific actions. They would be able to capitalize the retooling costs like any other business.

They EPA absolutely should be gutted and the regulations eased to make refining easier in the states but thats not the only issue. It’s the NIMBY crowd and special interest groups that can hold such projects up for years in court, that needs to be streamlined.

I wonder if the Chevron decision will basically discard all these EPA regulations. What about things like gas mileage standards..not sure if they are legally codified.

You'd think it would but the bureaucracy will fight tooth and nail to prevent it and it will probably take years going through the courts.

Who can blame the Trump team not accepting GSA technology and going as dark as possible after the spying and surveillance that occurred with Obama's administration ...

From the article:

But Trump is not signing a separate agreement with the General Services Administration, which would have unlocked federal funding, government buildings and cybersecurity technology for the transition. Instead, his transition will be backed by private donors and operate as a "self-sufficient organization."

Here's two scumbags trash talking Gabbard just bc she's been appointed by Trump.
This is what democrats do once one of their own leaves the democratic plantation.
Their job is to have a smear/hate campaign on tearing down someone not like them.
