President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

This is HUGE. Now go after all these people (medical industry) for criminal anti-trust and RICO violations, this is where the big savings and where Americans have been really been ripped off.
I think all retailers should have to disclose to consumers the wholesale prices the retailers are paying.

It's absolutely crazy to think the .gov has the power to make retailers disclose their wholesale cost. Not to mention, what good would it do consumers?
Its not crazy at all, I mean they can't necessarily dictate exact method of disclosure of pricing but they can mandate it i.e. commerce. The problem with anti-trust and consumer law is they don't use it on the big fish, that needs to stop... lots of people in the medical industry need to be in jail, just like said 12+ years ago many of the NCAA participants need to be in jail.

This is just the first step i.e. the shot across the bow.

Most of the medical industry needs to be destroyed, meaning how they operation... clear violations of federal and state law.

why should wholesale prices be hidden from consumers?

prices tags could list 3 things; the wholesale price, sale price to consumer and the per cent markup.

Many companies stopped celebrating President‘s Day when they had to begin supporting Juneteenth. We traded a rare early spring holiday for yet another midsummer holiday. As a result; many of us now go from New Years to Memorial Day with zero paid holidays
some of us get neither off. Memorial day has always been the first day off for my whole career.

Wait till you tell him that his health insurance isn't insurance at all. Literally medical insurance doesn't exist, not really or if it does its on the far edge. (fiction of law)

So you know what you are paying for, and you can shop around... further it(hide) helps to hide the Truth.... the whole thing is an anti-trust violation.

Keep up, we're not talking about medical anymore. He proposed that all retailers be forced to disclose their wholesale prices.

Laughable at your anti-trust violation.

They already are forced, you're probably in violation of law if you are hiding your fees from the customer. Laughing at you not knowing the law that's been effect before your daddy could even think of conceiving you.

Its just the government wasn't enforcing the law, just like they weren't enforcing existing law on the NCAA and schools. No different.

Ok buddy.

I'm confused as to why we are having this discussion, you actually think its okay for retailers to hide pricing? This is almost as bad as the guy didn't know he couldn't harbor criminals.

In both cases, enforcement of the law didn't happen.... so the public thinks this is all normal. Same could be said of the NCAA, I literally spent 5 years talking about that on this forum.... and people would argue that wasn't the law. If you can't disclose pricing or you have multiple types of pricing, you probably have an issue.
😂

Americans have been so dumbed down, they're confused when their not ripped off.

Not disclosing your wholesale cost is not hiding pricing. In most cases with bulk buyers wholesale means nothing.

There is absolutely nothing requiring retailers to disclose their costs. You're welcome to post the statute you claim exists.

I never said their costs, however if you wanted to push them on abusing consumer and anti-trust law, that would certainly be a topic for litigation.

There shouldn't be all these different price structures (generally), that is what they are hiding. You couple that with local monopolizes at the state and local level it becomes impossible to get true market pricing.

This will take considerable time to fix, but this is a good first step.... shot across the bow.

WTF are you even talking about. You absolutely were talking about costs.

But somebody claimed one ate a pet and the buy-in on that rumor made POTUS and VP look bad, so we gotta make them illegal and then waste resources getting rid of them.

I see I responded to you and you said "wholesale", no without going through all the States, I would be surprised by having to display that. (but you would have to look)

Generally, you should make it well known as to what prices are and not displaying or not making prices easily available could be a violation of law.

In medical, they're just trying to hide the fraud.

This is the shot across the bow, kind of like when California passed their stupid NIL law... its a warning. Its probably going to have to go much further here, we're talking what $1-5T+ a year.

I think he's looking at what Mark Cuban is doing at Cost Plus Drugs and going "that's a good idea - that should be a law."

No, its already existing law, no new laws need to be implemented.

Its no different than immigration law, its just not being enforced. Just like the NCAA stopping the market with sports, no enforcement of existing law.

All you need is enforcement, that is why the candidates get paid so much from the medical industry.
