What does "starting on" mean to you? I presume you consider yourself a fan of nuance.

Secondly, I see how you frame the "gotcha" media trope. So what do you make of the fact that the media completely ignored the following both before and after the election, and I don't recall anyone here ever mentioning it, either:

"...prices are still too high. You know it and I know it. And when we win this election, here’s what we’re going to do about it. On day one, I will take on price gouging and bring down costs."

Surely you don't expect us to believe that you would treat this statement the same way and call her a liar if Harris had won. And we know "the media to the Americans" didn't interpret that quotation in the most harmful manner it could contrive and promote it for months. Let's just agree to drop this silly trope.

That was the media trying to preempt or undermine negotiations and propagandizing on behalf of a foreign government against a sitting POTUS in the very White House.

If you think it through, any answer or no answer are all easily turned to anti-US propaganda and would obviously have been used against the POTUS and to manipulate the public. The question is too complicated for even well-intentioned people to treat in a minute. The politicized media likes that because they get to spin and twist any statement anyway they way and for as long as they want and for the aims they want.

I wouldn't worry about someone being smart enough to pass on a "hit job" question while the questioner pretends to be "intellectual” and “very concerned.”

There's a completely different and reasonable interpretation of causes of the war than the one you assume. I know you don't agree with it. I won't go into it. I don't want to argue about it.
