A Ukrainian lawmaker declared it was "absolute idiocy" for Zelensky to openly argue with President Donald Trump in front of the world.

If I’m a Ukrainian, I’d be very disappointed that he kept trying to interrupt and talk over the leaders of another country that has been giving us $billions to fight this war and we were hoping to continue receiving their support. I’d want Zelensky to be nothing but gracious and thanking the US for their past and future support. Nothing is stopping Trump from cutting off all assistance to Ukraine. Seems like the height of stupidity to attempt to argue with Trump / Vance especially in front of the media. JMO
