I'm adding you into the group of posters with some serious reading comprehension issues.Ah, the Luther trademark “??????,” a sure sign he is in over his head.
I guess you never said anyone “should,” you just assumed it:
@McDad, I think you have the word for this.
You had to have been a public school teacher.I'm adding you into the group of posters with some serious reading comprehension issues.
lol....bo back and read some of that thread. There were many poster who constantly blasted Volgr and Ras who are now far more forgiving of Putin and negative toward Zelensky/Ukraine.
It is obvious to me, but no biggie. Just an interesting observation.
If anyone wishes to choose to believe that people have not changed their opinions in the least, so be it.
If you choose to believe that opinions have changed, then the questions become: how much? whose? when? why?
I agree with pretty much everything you said.I believe you need to be able to separate morality and reality. And be as emotionally detached as possible.
Putin is a bad hombre. He’s sent a million young men to their death to capture very little territory. It seems he’s prepared to keep going.
Ukraine has lost territory, about half as many of their people, and have a country that is in ruins. Things are not going to get better for them from here.
We are borrowing money to fund this stalemate with no end in sight. At some point, you have got to accept this reality. If it can he brought to an end, you’ve got to get everyone to the table to talk about it. Putin is going to get some of what he wanted. It’s the way of war. It’s not right and it’s not pretty, but that is reality.
You left out one important thing. You can't get him to the negotiating table by calling him despicable, horrible, or nasty names like some want our President to do. You keep it diplomatic, keep it out of the press, and negotiate face to face. Apparently, that is what Trump is trying to do and of course he is getting labeled as Putin's puppet for it.I believe you need to be able to separate morality and reality. Congress, the DOJ and the MSM perjured themselves to create the TrumPutin lie and now that it's been debunked, some people still can't find reality with a compass. You left out one important thing. None.
1. They have not needed our weapons or money.
2. trump has yet to complete the gaslighting of his followers to the point where they would support it.
