Kim Jong Un, Xi, Vladimir Putin (or any other enemy oligarch) being able to fly a mistress or a daughter over to America and dropping out a child or grandchild that becomes just as American as you and me is asinine. Birthright citizenship makes no sense especially in the era of mass global air travel. It does, he's going to have his ass handed to him over this.

You need to tell the insurance companies to lower their premiums. You need to tell the county/city to lower their taxes. You need to tell the maintenance people to lower their salaries. You need to tell the construction suppliers to lower their prices on all things required to maintain a property. You need to tell contractors to lower their prices when you have to renovate when a tenant leaves the property in shambles. Landlords didn't just get greedy and started profiting because of a housing shortage.Housing/rent must become affordable for the next Generation of Americans. Sorry landlords profiting off mass migration must end.
Thanks for noticing! I have been lurking, mostly in the RF. I didn’t realize I hadn’t posted in a while, but I don’t usually follow the news closely during a transition. Was your sabbatical from VN exhilarating?
The nazi stuff takes the cake for the dumbest thing so far, and that’s saying something. Musk is not a nazi and he’s not trolling, he just waved for God’s sake. Geez.
Social media and MSM putting this stuff out there is laughable and elementary, and the fact that they know it will gain traction with a segment of our society is embarrassing.

He waved, that’s it, and it shouldn’t be that hard. How can anybody say this with confidence? He's one of the biggest trolls and this is exactly his style of humor.
Who waves like that? It's OK to give him the benefit of the doubt, but people who are certain he's not trolling are doing the same thing the people who are certain he's a Nazi are doing.
Never said they did suddenly get magically greedy. The housing shortage arose because we couldn't build enough housing for 10's of millions of migrants. If we remove the demand of millions of illegals here already and are now stopping the constant thousands of new arrivals daily that occurred over last four years, then home prices and rent will decline and/or at least stagnate. Taxes will be lowered or stagnate along with home values. It's all basic supply and demand. You need to tell the insurance companies to lower their premiums. The expense of owning those properties has went through the roof. My insurance on my apartments has doubled. The cost to get anything done has probably doubled.Another thing he is forgetting, if those properties aren't profitable they won't exist. People don't invest in rental properties out of the goodness of their hearts.
Im curious on your take on those j6ers that were year gassed and shot with rubber bullets first before the violence broke out...if the police start the violence are protesters allowed to fight back or not?For clarity, if they were convicted and received a sentence for which they should still be in prison, then yes, they should still be in prison.
I don't know that "assault and battery" gets years in prison unless there is significant injury to the victim of the assault, so I would have to believe there were more serious charges, but in all candor, I don't know what the charges and convictions were or the sentences for those charges.
Now, for those who are just sitting in jail, awaiting trial, because the government doesn't have the evidence to convict so they are afraid to try, and now, because of law enforcement action, the government doesn't have the evidence that might exonerate, well, those folks serving a "prosecutor's sentence" should be released.
Law enforcement never should have released that info to Congress when charges were pending against criminal defendants. This isn't about Congress' actions, it is the about law enforcement action - the people that "control" your "freedoms" - depriving defendants of the evidence that may show they are not guilty.
True, I do not disagree. But rent at $1200 month didn't increase to $2200 month solely for these reasons. The supply and demand plays a part. Supply needs to go up while demand goes down. You need to tell the insurance companies to lower their premiums. You need to tell the county/city to lower their taxes. But you're assuming the demand caused prices to go up. I'm sure it did some but most of the increases were caused by the factors I mentioned. Eleviating the demand won't have that much of an effect. Most new construction cost way more to build and thus the rents will be higher. Interest rates play a part too. Investors are borrowing money for these big projects and that's factored into the rent.Never said they did suddenly get magically greedy. Not arguing here, just legitimately would like to know. What is the reasoning for the insurance premiums increasing, outside cost of materials/replacement increasing? Are we subsidizing the more natural disaster prone areas? The expense of owning those properties has went through the roof. My insurance on my apartments has doubled. Everything is supply and demand. If demand falls off a cliff new home builders simply wont be able to sell or rent those new builds at the prices they want. Its happening right now in Florida and Texas. But you're assuming the demand caused prices to go up. I'm sure it did some but most of the increases were caused by the factors I mentioned. If you double the operating expenses then the rent is going to double. My insurance doubled in 2 years. No claims. I oaid the premium annually amd got a mid year increase of several hundred dollars. I said I had a years policy already in place, you can't do that. Their response "Do you want the insurance or not?"True, I do not disagree.
