President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

I am no more concerned about nuclear war or WW3 today than I was before.

But I really don't know what voters expect DC to do about our situation at home. Biden/D polling may be catastrophic for the mid terms, but there is literally no one who can be elected to office and turn us around in a few months, or years. Where we are took decades to create. It will take decades to correct.

The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step...

Though Biden is doing a Usain Bolt speed marathon in the opposite direction.

I agree.

But voters are typically radically impatient for results. Going to be tough to sell voters on change AND deliver that change on a timetable voters expect.

We would never elect anyone or group that could actually turn us around because it would take pain and sacrifice from us all to do it.

It was at a slow pace so most people missed it. They have been working on the institutions of higher learning for decades. They knew those were the future educators that would be in the public secondary schools once the 60-80 year old teachers who did it for the love retired. Globalization and turning China into a power can't be put back in the bag.

Trump had a lot of faults but they had to get rid of him because I think he would've continued to try to reverse some of this. He constantly talked about the swamp. Joe Biden "NEVER" talks about the swamp. He is part of the swamp which is part of the problem.

Do you really have any legitimate hope it is corrected? I doubt it.

It makes it harder to reverse. You better believe they know this and a single Donald Trump term won't be enough to help this time. For instance, a record number of millions of illegals will already be here.

Which is why I say that the system is broken and we need to start over. Trying to patch this together with voting or staying within the present system will not be the fastest and most effective way of doing that.

It’s going to take a new breed of American Politician
Trump was the closest thing to what was needed.

But right now, I'm not sure what options we have available on the right or left. I think both parties are just going to try to kick the can down the road in an effort to keep the system running as it is.

I do not. Only an event so transformative (like the great depression) can change our path. And that event is far more likely to produce more tyranny than more freedom.
Possibly, but there isn't any other viable option left on the table. Plus, you have half of the country that simply hates and wants to kill the other half... or at least has a desire to see them die. You can't coexist and share a govt with people like that. Those people are too far gone.

I am not agreeable to giving up on a great system because the people we elect to administer that system are corrupt.

I don’t agree.

We need servants. Citizens ready and willing to devote their life’s work to the service of this Nation.
