I don't believe there is a path to that; she would move up to president if biden is taken out. The only way to replace biden as president without it being kami is the Nixon - Agnew - Ford thing. VP dumped and a new one selected, and then the president goes, and the unelected VP moves up. Then you have an unelected president with the option of filling the VP seat with another unelected stooge - as long as congress agrees with the selections.

Don't hope too hard for this. The swamp protects it's own, and it can't let one biden drag another down. There's just too much corruption in DC to let one thing risk a deeper dive. Politicians have it gamed and they aren't about to let it all fall apart on them - besides we don't have enough prisons to hold the swamp inhabitants, and nobody will let us just shoot them.

Of course, getting confirmation of a new liberal VP in the Senate, which is split 50/50 (with no sitting VP to break the tie) will be loads of fun. If I were the Republicans, I’d tell them we will only confirm a conservative.

What? Kamala wouldn’t have an option to stay as VP. If Joe is booted while she is the VP, then she becomes the President.

They could do something before Joe is either impeached or stepped down. You know... either a trumped up criminal case like Spiro Agnew or a Ron Brown special or something...

His daddy will bail him out with a pardon and bow out. We'll be stuck with Harris. They will stall this until after the midterms. I also think they will have Biden pardon himself like the media gnashed their teeth suggesting the ultra evil Trump would have done . They both retire with millions.

The timing you mention is interesting. I could see them waiting if they are worried Harris would be a complete cluster for the mid-terms. They want her as the POTUS by hook or crook. The only way she gets there is Biden doesn't make it full term. Either way somehow they must beat Republicans to the punch though even through promoting underqualified people. They will never get caught offguard like when Bush chose Powell and Rice to the cabinet, and democrats couldn't claim a racial victory. So now they are openly talking about affirmative action choices for "atta boys".

Or......they will hold the evidence for the next couple of years. If Joe becomes an even bigger liability then they have the bipartisan support to get rid of them both, and quickly.
