President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

How bad do things have to get before a majority of Democrats figure out that they chose poorly? When do they finally admit that their vote is destroying their budget, their savings, and their standard of Living?
They never will. The government will save them from their own wicked ways, in their minds.

My look at that is the catholic church just crossed the church and state separation. It has to work both ways regardless of issues. If we maintain that the state not dictate any religious preferences, then religions in turn cannot attempt to directly influence behaviors of government officials. There is a clear distinction in influencing the view of members vs holding them hostage when it comes to responsibilities outside the church.
The politics of the catholic church aside, Jesus will deal with her when the time comes.

and abortion...
Which is a crap argument because the SCOTUS didn't (won't) be doing anything other than letting the states decide. The apoplectic leftists will just have to go to states that share the view that infanticide is OK. What's the big deal? Oh... that's right, they want to force their views on everybody.

and abortion...

I still firmly believe the SC gave dems what they needed and that the GOP is going to use it to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It's that urban rural divide again - the values of the rural population cannot win against the metropolitan areas.

Triple Digits: Biden Hits 100 Days Without A Media Interview

President Joe Biden on Friday reached a milestone not seen in the recent history of the presidency — 100 consecutive days without conducting a sit-down interview with the media.

The president was last interviewed by a member of the press on Feb. 10, when NBC's Lester Holt spoke to him ahead of Super Bowl LVI. Since then, Biden has held press conferences and taken questions from individual reporters but has not conducted any extended interviews.

The long gap contradicts Biden's promises to run a transparent administration, Republican National Committee spokeswoman Emma Vaughn said.

I don't know if running on abortion and Trump will be enough with everything else going on right now. We'll see though.

Still think the economic implosion will overrule this.

It could, but think about if biden really manages somehow by executive order to pull off cancelling student debt before the election. Which areas is that going to affect the most, and it would do a lot for an important segment of dem voters. Even if it's stopped and goes to the court, that turns it into the evil GOP that took money from their pockets. The dems are full of dirty tricks and ways to influence their voters. If they can't buy an election, they can sure turn it to make it seem that it was above board and they were stopped by the GOP. I think they are just holding their punches for the right time, and in the meantime states like OK are just making it easier for them.

I hear they may be expecting 6 million illegals per month with end of Title 42. Just in time for a recession. Our gov is literally creating a dependent class and an elite ruling class.

That is not written anywhere. Government is prohibited from establishing a religion, but nothing prohibits churches from participating in the political process like any other entity (i.e. corporations, charities, activists, etc.). Seems a bit one-sided to say all of these activist groups and lobbyists can influence public policy, but churches can’t.

Influence is fine. Saying you would kick someone out or in this case withdraw what is seen as limiting participation to force compliance in legislative duties crosses a boundary. There is a very distinct difference. Would you feel the same if this were over an issue like gun ownership and the catholic church threatened excommunication or withholding communion if catholic members of congress supported individual gun rights? The FF included the separation of church and state for a reason, and that was largely because many in America had fled religious intolerance that forced government policy in their home countries. When the catholic church threatens actions like this, it in effect seeks to promote it's views over all other beliefs.

Stunning data.
Let’s look at the big picture:
Democrats are losing
Rural voters
Blue Collar voters
African American Voters
Hispanic voters
the only demographic they seem to be holding their own with are college educated urban whites, the very group having the fewest children.
Panic time should eventually set in

Are you honestly intending to say that a Church should be FORCED to provide its sacraments against its Will? Because it sure sounds like that is what you are calling for. The government or a count being able to COMPEL a bishop to perform a religious rite against his conscience? REALLY???

I agree.

Also, I couldn't imagine how morally bankrupt you'd have to be for abortion to motivate you to vote, but that's the Democrat party voter base for you in a nutshell.

A church is free to set its own membership requirements as it sees fit!!!! It is a voluntary association explicitly protected constitutionally fro Government meddling or control! You are normally very logical individual. What in the world are you smoking today?
It sure sounds like you are saying a government official should be able to review a church‘s membership roles and add or delete members according to government Diktat!!!!
What gives dude??????

This is the entire point of 501 entities. Politics from the pulpit can get your tax exempt status revoked.
