Playing the maybe game today, huh? The two morons I named did tons of damage without needing any votes.
No, Bush had the votes to get us into Iraq and that was his biggest blunder, a tragic and horrible blunder. Trump's biggest blunder was NOT getting the votes to get some of his biggest agenda items passed but if you look at it with clear eyes Trump caused minimal damage.
I don't think Joe is a good president, but he really is not doing much of anything which elevates him above the morons I named.
Biden to aim for 50% EVs by 2030 with industry support
Biden's goal, which is not legally binding, won the support of major U.S. and foreign automakers that warned it would require billions of dollars in government funding.
"We have got to act," U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said in a CNBC interview. "This goal of getting half of our new vehicles to be electric within the decade is going to be urgently needed for us to meet the imperative of climate in our time."

I had some errands to run & just got home. I was listening to a local talk radio station while I was out & about. They had somebody call into the station to tell us NOT to buy an electric car. He said he has one & just to replace the battery on some of these cars cost around $16,000 dollars. He said these batteries will cost like $13,000 to replace & $2,000 -$3,000 dollars to pay someone at the dealership to put the replacement battery back in & hook all that back up . He said he knew someone that had to turn his car back into the dealership because he couldn't afford the cost of batteries when one needs that done. This is not even talking about the cost of the car itself.
We were just watching the show How The States Got Their Shapes and Georgia was complaining that the lines were drawn wrong that the 35th parallel should give them Lake Nickajack lol
Interesting as my wife's personal BCBS plan went up $60 between last month & this month. Yep, crushing it!
Democrat Women Gather in D.C. to Discuss Kamala Harris Media Crisis
![]()
A group of Democrat women political strategists gathered in July for a dinner in Washington, DC, to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’s media “crisis,” according to a report.
Axios reports that former adviser to both Bill and Hillary Clinton, Kiki McLean, hosted the dinner with former DNC officials Donna Brazile and Leah Daughtry; former Barack Obama spokesperson and Joe Biden adviser Stephanie Cutter; former Hillary Clinton spokeswomen and Democratic strategists Adrienne Elrod and Karen Finney; and former Obama communications director Jennifer Palmieri, who also worked for Hillary Clinton’s second failed presidential campaign.
No one from Harris’ office was present for the dinner but “Harris confidant Minyon Moore” attended, according to the report.
