And BTW, what I find truly embarrassing is the choices were Trump or Biden. 2 pretty terrible candidates to lead "the most powerful nation in earth."

The last time I voted major party was before GW vs Gore. There was no way I could vote for such poor candidates. Now I long for the days of the quality of GW and Gore. Life has taught me it’s going to get worse.

You know they'll do it though. The vote to increase debt always goes through - and the swamp creatures get back pay for sitting at home. Of course that back pay still doesn't catch them up with a passport not issued, etc - those things are just added to the backlog. Trump was willing to shut things down and was raked over the coals; dems won't do that ... unless republicans controlled everything and they could obstruct.

I'd even pay Lowes a reasonable price for plywood sheeting so I could redo the kitchen and utility room floors at the other place, but I'm guessing joe's policies on oil are probably going to put vinyl plank in the luxury price range. I could afford what it costs; I'm just too damn stubborn to be bent over and plundered.

I hate to get involved in your lovers' quarrel and I've only paid a little attention. Is @evillawyer talking about lumber futures while youre talking about current price per sheet of OSB? EL's article is behind a pay wall and I'm not exactly sure if you two are even arguing about the same thing.

I have one supplier who bands a 4x4 sheet of half inch plywood on top of a pallet of 4 drums for shipping. I’ve been saving the pieces that weren’t too beat up. Your post about “just wait till hurricane season” made the bulb light up in my head.
