President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

According to the 25th, if there is a vacancy in the Vice-Prsidents office, the President shall nominate a nominee to be approved by majority of BOTH the House and Senate. So if a President is removed via the 25th, the Vice assumes the office and then would then nominate a VP to be approved by Congress.

My google search finds that Harris would select one.

Yep. 25th Amendment covers it. The confirmation should be interesting ... especially if it's in the next term and the GOP cleans house.

Section 1
In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.
Section 2
Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

She'd probably appoint one of the squad members .... one that likes to burn it all down.

That's where it gets interesting ... the "natural born" clause. Two members of the squad are citizens by naturalization - they aren't eligible. This is an issue we keep not dealing with. The 12th Amendment states: "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States." However, we skirt it in the line of succession; it skips if someone in the line doesn't meet the qualifications, but it doesn't keep someone from filling a position in the line of succession. Henry Kissinger immediately comes to mind. From history, it would likely never be an issue, but why allow someone unqualified in the line in the first place?

Democrats have, thus far, been going against & ignoring and going around the Constitution for so long anyway ... that the rules that have been set forth doesn't matter to them in the least. They feel they can do just about whatever they damn well please & nobody can do anything about it.

I'm firmly convinced they could run unqualified candidates without repercussion, dodge in the courts with standing, and after the election use "the people have spoken" and "at this point, what does it matter". For as many regulatory agencies as we have in every other facet of life, we sure don't bother with vetting candidates before they go on a ballot. That should include having to pass a security clearance commensurate with the position before the name goes on the ballot.
