At this point, what difference does it make. Fascism, communism, national socialism are all totalitarian regimes; you can argue all you want about the semantics, terms, and labels when the real discussion should simply be about the victims. When the "left" and "right" wrap around luther's continuum and meet in the back, that's the space where fascism, communism, national socialism exist in seeming indifference - all equal on the misery level but with the different brands advertising themselves as superior. You could throw in religious fervor like the Inquisition, or twisted things like the French Reign of Terror born of revolution, or Britain's Cromwell and still have a populace living in fear in a totalitarian tyranny. If you aren't free, what difference does a label make?

Absolutely....boxes and labels.
The radical left are the problem. The talk that we have two "extremists" camps is hogwash. Conservatism by the very definition is staying the same, hence not in motion or progressive and not an applicable ideology.

The next time I hear the term "conservatives" are extreme, I am gonna scream.

Personally, this is sad. Having had a relative who suffered from early onset of dementia, I see all of the signs here that I saw then.

I'm no fan of Joe Biden. Far from it. But with it being abundantly clear to me that he is suffering from dementia, I take no joy in watching his slow, inexorable slide into the full-blown version. I will not celebrate watching an old man succumb to such a terrible and demeaning end. I went through it with my F-I-L, and the last few weeks were heartbreaking. There were times when he knew how bad off he was, and that was the worst part. No 70 year-old man wants to have his kids change his diaper.

Count me out on the dog pile. At some level, I blame his wife for letting this happen. She's a physician, is she not? She had to know, and she let them trot him out there as a figurehead, knowing full well how this would end. Dang shame.

Joe Biden may end up as the worst President in modern times, but it ain't his fault. It's the fault of those who made him the face of a party with no honor or integrity.

No Jill isn’t a physician, DOCTOR Jill Biden has a token PhD in education and is as big a grifter as her asshat husband. She hasn’t demonstrated any professional skills of her own. Ever. She’s happy to exploit her idiot husband to get the First Lady title. That’s it.
