President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Never thought I'd say this, but I should just stay in the FF. Look at what y'all did.

Take it with a grain of salt Zep. It's more about Pete being unqualified. People think he has gotten where he is because of his sexuality and it's insulting for many. It's the type if identity politics that consumes the Biden administration.

Ideology makes little difference to people who suffer basically the same treatment from systems that are supposedly diametrically opposed ... but in reality most aren't all that different. It doesn't really matter much if the Nazis or the communists reeducate, or if both take away basic freedoms and use secret police to enforce, or if both take private property and businesses away. Semantics are just words - actions are actions. Both Nazis and communists practiced one form of genocide or another; both left mass graves. At some point what does it matter? Is one brand of tyranny better than another, or one outcome better than another? This is "my brand of atrocity maker is better than your brand of atrocity maker", and I don't think the real victims would care much about the semantics.

The diagram in question is missing two boxes. One spanning the bottom for totalitarian regimes, and one at the top for anarchy (or lack of government). Funny thing is that there's generally been more totalitarians than places with no government control at all. Somebody will always feel a need to control others. Every government will gravitate toward total control rather than less control. Look at our collection of states and federalism; look at he European Union and their federalism - the British didn't care much for where that was headed.
And as I stated from the start, if he had just said authoratarian or totalitarian he would have been correct.

But two totalitarians sharing a border dont necessarily cause friction. If anything it helps secure the population, with one less place to escape to. The commies and the nazis fought because they both were ideologically driven movements with a history of "exporting" their beliefs to other countries as part of a pretty sustained revolutionary movement from the 20s thru the mid thirties. The french were actually leaning pretty commie, and that posed an existential threat to nazi germany.

If the voting requirement was immediately changed to 21 and up and you must either be currently employed/serving, own land, or over the age of 65 this country would change over night and we would have a balanced budget within a year.
Lol, no it wouldnt. It would just shift the deficit back to those peoples flavors of socialism.

Yes maam/sir.

Just wait until Pete runs for President again. 👀
Unless Pete resigns and distances himself from this administration - and he has an excuse to resign for his family - he can kiss his chances of a successful run for President for at least 12 years. Yesterday's results from across the country show that enough people have seen the truth.....

Actually that French commie lean and trying to prevent it had a lot to do with the US winding up in Vietnam. Instability in France was a very serious threat to the remainder of western Europe.
