President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

My stance is that the Democratic Party was irresponsible and negligent by nominating Joe Biden (who was already showing clear signs of dementia) with Kamala as VP. They created the mess. It's not the job of Senate Republicans to help them find a palatable solution out of this train wreck of their own creation.

I can appreciate your position, but if we have elector that are more committed to their party than to their constituents and our country, we have failed as voters and deserve what we get. If things don't turn around, I'm for ditching all of them.

And 35% to 40% approve of the job this administration is doing??

Escorting the Democrats to the White House exits as quickly as possible IS showing commitment to the country. I would be willing to bet that by the time any of this potentially comes up as a real issue, the independents are going to be dying to get the Democrats out of the White House. It will have popular support.

Don't know how much stock I put into this but a national sales rep offices out of our facility, he closes millions in business for the company every month. He tells us there is some rumor about this being a larger concerted effort by the Chinese, economic warfare.

I absolutely cannot understand how people don't see the Chinese scheme. We buy goods from government owned Chinese "companies" and they use the sales to fuel our economic suicide and build their military. Worse, they fully subsidize all this by stealing our technology because we are too busy with other things to plug the holes - besides, cutting off the Chinese would be racist. So we are compliant little serfs because they have us by the balls economically, are building a military to physically dominate us (with our own money), have the technology to shut down our infrastructure, and we are worried about a woke agenda.

57. Will be 58 in April. But a lot of miles on the odometer in my career and they are hard miles. I wanted to retire at 55 but we built a new house so I moved that to 60. After the changes my company made to pension plans this year I moved that up to 59 or the year I will be 59 anyway. Which is Jan 2023.

I COULD work 5 more years if I wanted to easily. I don’t want to. Corporate America is a cess pool right now and I’m tired of compensating for piss poor executive office direction. Needless stress. I can leave so I’m going to that’s all 🤷‍♂️

Does it ever amaze you that it's been this way for years now, and executive compensation just keeps growing? I've noticed that seemingly all of us in a professional and basically non management role absolutely despise the work environment. I felt that way about twenty years ago when I retired - absolutely no way I was going back as long as I could survive.

Thanks, so after reading the link, I understand that California basically requested a waiver and it was granted as it met EPA requirements for such a waiver. So this does not apply to any state other than the state of California, however given the waiver was granted, other states can adopt the California waiver without having to go through the waiver process. Is that how you read it?

Corporate America is making it a very easy decision right now. And I’d guess we actually lag your work environment a tad.

I firmly believe that when management was produced in hordes from university B Schools and not promoted from the manufacturing floor where people were really educated, it all went to schiff. Just no real understanding of what makes it all work and of the people who actually make things and make things work.

Romney and his fellow scum of the earth prostitutes are always available when the dems come calling.
As you continue reading the other posts in the thread, you're going to see that I identified Romney as the Senator that I consider to be the most likely candidate. Since he's already independently wealthy, he doesn't need to rely on keeping the government gravy train rolling. I see him as the most likely RINO to not worry about committing political suicide. The rest of the RINO's will know that vote will destroy any chance of self-preservation in the Senate.

So in short, you think he's going to throw a match on the pool of gasoline on his way out the door and burn the place to the ground.

They better be talking to toy makers to dream up antennas to suck loose energy out of the air then because they will find it difficult to convert the "alternative energy forms" to something useful. There really is no workable Plan B. These idiots need some very basic introductory thermodynamics.

Nah, Romney is protected by his magic Mormon underwear - it's just the rest of us who hate him, and we can't vote against him.
