President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Can someone shed some light on something? Why is that for 4 years, it was cool to say **** Trump, denigrate his wife and child, publicly talk about blowing up the WH and murdering Trump. Yet liberals have been throwing a fit about let’s go Brandon and think when peoplechant “**** Joe Biden” that it’s somehow despicable?

It burns more when it's true. Joe is an idiot, and his family are taking it to the government for favors.

Does it ever amaze you that it's been this way for years now, and executive compensation just keeps growing? I've noticed that seemingly all of us in a professional and basically non management role absolutely despise the work environment. I felt that way about twenty years ago when I retired - absolutely no way I was going back as long as I could survive.
You know I really hope the current state of events is just me transitioning into that inevitable old curmudgeon that thinks everyone is just stupid. But the state of my industry today just doesn’t line up with that. We are more lethargic, less efficient, and not as effective in realizing design solutions are we were 20 years ago. And we simply don’t appear to be focused on that and instead are focused on non business execution issues that don’t provide any quantifiable competitive advantage… even though the executive suite talking heads claim that’s exactly what we’re doing.

My stance is that the Democratic Party was irresponsible and negligent by nominating Joe Biden (who was already showing clear signs of dementia) with Kamala as VP. They created the mess. It's not the job of Senate Republicans to help them find a palatable solution out of this train wreck of their own creation.
It's not their job to get the Dems out of the mess. But it is their job to get AMERICA out of the mess. But they wont. Cause partisan BS.

And then people will show up and vote for more of the same and wonder why things dont get better.

Can someone shed light on something? Why is that for 4 years it wasnt cool for posters on VN to say **** Trump, werent allowed to denigrate his wife and children, publically couldn't talk about blowing up the WH and murdering Trump. And yet now the RINOs have been enjoying their fit of mud slinging as soon as they get the chance.

I can't say there's no progress, but it's certainly different. In my time I've seen the progression in music from records to tape to CD to various forms of other digital storage and back to vinyl ... from vacuum tubes through transistors to very miniaturized large scale integrated circuits - no need to even memorize resistor color bands. Analog to digital was quite a jump compared to an endless progression of phones etc that really aren't quantum jumps of technology. I'll admit electric cars - at least the power production part has some real advantages in simplicity and performance, but at the cost of dragging around a ton of batteries that have significant disadvantages such as refueling and in the end a questionable power grid to charge them. It seems like for the most part it's not big jumps in technology anymore but just version changes to keep techies happy. Now the 1TB external drive that just came today is less than a third the size of my cellphone, but that just means it's going to be harder to keep up with.

I see no reason that even the most liberal of Republicans should help the Democrats out in approving a new liberal VP, and Kamala wouldn't be able to cast the tiebreaking vote because she'll be history. If I were a Republican senator, I would insist that the new VP be a conservative Republican.
I see a couple posters optimistic that the Dems will cashier Kamala but unless she commits a deadly sin exactly how does that happen?

Never underestimate their stupidity.
I see it as much being unmitigated brazenness as stupidity. They are so convinced they know what’s best for the country is to humble and humiliate it as well as wreck the economy so they can (forgive me) build back better as a centrally managed (micromanaged) utopia that there’s no trying to reason with them.
