So Sessions is out of committee and on to the full Senate.

I believe the same is true for Treasury and HHS but because Democrats refused to even show up to the committee, Republicans changed the rules so they could vote with out them and passed them on to the Senate.

Taking tax dollars to support religious or private schools that can manipulate their enrollment should not be among those changes.

Completely agree. They all look foolish in these fights, imo. Both erode confidence in the integrity of the system.

I go back and forth. There is some value to institutional knowledge. I think for Senate 3 six year terms is fine. For House, how about 5 two year terms, max?

She just isn't qualified. And anyone who watched her hearing should see that she lacks the knowledge for her position.

Looks like they may pull some R votes against Betsy DeVos. Problems with financing of outlying schools if school choice passes, the "shooting bears" comments, obviously not knowledgable. There are other better options surely.
