Trump seemed to be saying if your only option is mail-in voting then it should be questioned at best and thrown out at worst. Moreover, he wants his people there to witness the in-person voting.

They weren't close to saying the same thing.

Trump is pointing out the dangers of mail-in voting when it comes to unsolicited ballots. He gave examples. I agree with him.

The thing is, if you champion a way of voting that is easily defrauded, you're championing a way that puts everyone else's vote at risk. If my vote can be negated by an unsolicited ballot, then you aren't saying you want everyone's vote, even if you're saying you want everyone to vote.

"Will you condemn white supremacy?"
