We had tickets for a show about a month after this one but some of the parents heard he simulated obscene acts with his guitar, so we were not allowed to go.

I never would have suspected he had a problem. I wonder if he got hooked after the hip issues.

He might have had access to a Fentanyl time release patch and cheeked it or chewed it.

I think a very likely scenario involved Prince getting hooked on these drugs after first taking them for legitimate pain issues. He had hip surgery at some point and I'd say that was when it started.

I also think that he recently tried to stop cold turkey and lasted a few days before he started experiencing the terrible side effects of withdrawal.

Prince then made a fatal mistake common in drug overdoses. He took a dose of the medicine at the same level he had been taking it prior to going cold turkey, his body wasn't ready to handle that same dosage and it killed him. Very common cause of fatal drug overdoses that the public isn't well educated about.

I've heard all kinds of stories about how strong this drug is when used properly, I couldn't imagine someone wanting a massive dose of it all at once.

I didn't ever know what the drug was til this story. If what they say is true about the potency, holy crap! I couldn't even imagine.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking also. All his shows...those hips had to be in rough shape.
