Even though he's considered by many to be less capable of handling the economy than a McCain admin., he's endorsed by some of the wisest economists among us, such as Warren Buffett (though not BPV yet).

Helping America be energy independent in the short term is a bad thing? As stated before there is no other energy source that will be both affordable or otherwise practical for at least 20 or so years. If we can start pumping oil in as little as 3 or 4 years, that is still a lot better than 20+. I respect you TNC but you are way off here if you follow logic.

Better said, he changes rapidly when it's politically convenient. I have yet to hear you laud his Washington outsider status and new politics.

He's happy to lie to foreigners in helping mask his complete lack of credentials. Did you say that?

if by "pure conjecture" you mean deducing that b/c he studied and taught it at two of the country's pre-eminent universities that he would be considered an expert in the subject, then I agree.
