Here's the link to the trailer. This is supposedly a prequel to the first Alien movie, but some think it isn't. The ship in the trailer looks a lot like the derelict spacecraft from the first Alien movie. You be the judge. Thoughts, comments?

I hope it's good. Haven't liked a Ridley Scott movie since Matchstick Men. He's put together some overhyped stinkers, IMO.

Yeah sometimes Ridley Scott gets a little full of himself, but he has a great eye for sci fi and compelling action.

Harrison Ford is too old. Darryl Hannah is too fat. Rutger Hauer is still crazy, but looks too much like Ted Kennedy.

If it isn't a prequel then Scott borrows quite a bit from Alien. Hope it is a prequel. After Aliens the series really went downhill IMO.

Eh I didnt think Alien 3 was that bad. Alien resurrection, now that was a terrible movie.

Scott developed this as the prequel, but the producer and studio asked to not go that route. Thus we are left with familiar things throughout the movie.

I'd pass on the International trailer if you're wanting to go in to the movie knowing less. Trailer is really story heavy. Hype though. The second half of the US trailer is nuts.

Dang it. Wish I hadn't watched that trailer. Who the hell puts out a trailer like that which seems to clearly explain most of all the plot points!!!!
