implying that if it wasn't by bridge that it would have to be from the earth? I mean who makes a smart comment like that when there actually are other means to get here. Columbus and the Vikings made it by land bridge as well.

since "native" Americans claim that they have always been here, then yes...they would have had to spring up from the earth.

That theory has about as much evidence supporting it as the land-bridge theory. Crossing the Bering Strait is merely a theory. That's it. There are about five other theories that are as well or more supported in the scientifici communty. Regardless, Native Americans were more than likely here first.
