Proof the CFP is about the "best" teams not the "most deserving"

This is not the same FSU team but I still think this game proves they didn't belong. It also exposes the problem with the transfer portal. When you bring in guys from other programs how committed are they? I don’t know how if you are FSU players that opted out that you didn't think you had anything to prove playing Georgia. Where is the pride these days?

You do realize FSU has one starter playing on defense tonight right? And defense was their bread and butter. And the original starting qb transferred so they are playing with a third stringer. I loathe FSU but thinking they didn’t deserve to be in the playoff is a terrible take. Money and popularity have become the focus and Division one football will continue to become more and more corrupt.
Do you think their starters are worth 60 points? Lol. This is exactly why the teams that recruit at the top every year are great every year. There is no rebuilding just reloading

You lost me at "mighty Vols"
So what do you think about that LSU win ? Doesn’t a team that won 2 OOC SEC games (including an annual rival) deserve a shot at the title ?

No because winning doesn’t matter. I already told you.

Does bama want to be in the CFP?
Don’t lose to a big 12 team at home.

Does TX want to be in the CFP?
Don’t lose to a team who got curb stomped by AZ in their bowl game.

It is not complicated.

That is all pure subjective opinion. FSU won every game on their schedule in a P5 conference and best 2 SEC teams to get there.

If bama and TX were both undefeated I would have no prob with FSU getting left out.

But again winning games clearly doesn’t matter.
Why do you think that BEFORE THE SEASON FSU was scratching and clawing to get out of the ACC and why do you think they are suing the ACC now. It's because they know that I'm saying is true. The ACC is DEAD. It's not a P5 conference anymore that's just a meaningless label.

We will see who wins. The committee got it right (except UGA should have been in and Washington should not be in or cheating Michigan).

I knew it was true and called it before it happened. FSU was never going to be in the CFP

Georgia stomping FSU into a mud hole is proof they never belonged in the CFP. People saying "an undefeated P5 team MUST go is total BS in a world where there's only 2 'real' P5 football conferences.

The reality is the CFP should have taken both Bama and Georgia.

Like Ricky Bobby said if you're not in the SEC, your LAST.
Not trying to take any side on the matter, but you’re aware how many opt outs from the transfer portal, the draft, and injuries FSU has on both sides of the ball right? UGA’s pretty much playing against 3rd string and walkons.

UGA about to put 70 on FSU. There's no excuse for that ever.

You know who loses by that many points? Not a P5 school!

How do you explain the fact that bama got beat by a TX team who got beat by ok who got trucked by AZ in their bowl game ? I seriously want to hear this take.
I wouldn’t get to excited. It’s pretty easy. You can figure out if you’d like but won’t due to your hatred for bama. I get it. Bama was a much, much better team when the committee had to make the decision. Milroe and the team weren’t playing great ball when they took that L against Texas. They peaked when they needed to. FSU declined when they didn’t need to. Some of that was injuries. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is. Anyone who is realistic and has eyeballs knows FSU wasn’t one of the four best at seasons end.

So you’re telling me that TX and their overrated schedule deserved to be in after getting beat by a sorry OK team who just got trucked by AZ?

Did TX look like one of the best 4 teams in the nation ???

Hey Georgia got snubbed and they didn't lose half their team. They came to play football! Character matters. FSU is trash and proving it. No power 5 team loses by 70 points!

Sort of disagree. I feel like a team pretty much fielding 3rd stringers and walkons playing against a top 5 team should go about as well as Vanderbilt against an NFL team.

That’s said, it is also funny to **** on them right now as well.

Winning does matter. Along with other outlined factors by the committee. Injury being one of those. Unfortunate for FSU but it is watch it is. It’s not subjective. It’s optical reality. Anyone who can put hatred for bama aside can look at FSU and say they weren’t 1 of 4 best at seasons end. Hell they prob weren’t top 10 at season end.

Nope. Now I think UGA should have been in ahead of TX.

The problem isn't the CFP, it's these stupid meaningless conference champions.

If Bama wasn't the champion of the SEC it would have been UGA.

Never said they did. I didn’t get to pick the 4. I’d of taken Georgia over TX. Over Washington as well.

I’m happy to agree and give them grief on character, starters opting out, and not playing in the bowl game, don’t get me wrong. But it’s also irrelevant to whether or not it was right or wrong for the committee to have included them or left them out. Those mass sittings out for the draft and transfers don’t happen if they’re in a playoff game, so it really doesn’t work as a proper comparison.

So what about the the multiple 1 and 2 and 3 loss teams who have looked better than WASH and TX down the stretch ? Why not take a 3 loss team like LSU who would boat race wash ?

Oh it’s because winning matters when you want it to, but if it doesn’t fit the narrative then it doesn’t really matter that much. Got it.

UGA should have been in. FSU under no circumstances even full strength wins the SEC against Bama or UGA. FSU may have beaten LSU but the rest of their schedule was trash

Or what about a MICH team who played literally no one except an overrated OSU team?

Because they’re undefeated ? Oh yeah, winning matters right ? Or does it, I forget ??

Still, losing by 70 is not acceptable. Why even show up? Just forfeit the game and admit you were not worthy.

And MICH deserves to be in over FSU because of their amazing schedule am I right ? Because MICH’s schedule was so much stronger than FSU’s right ? Hahaha

And MICH didn’t just squeak in. They are the NUMBER 1 team in all of college football after playing an easier schedule than FSU.

Oh because they’re undefeated ? So winning matters until it doesn’t.

Wait so the #1 seed played a hot garbage big 10 schedule and nobody bats an eye. Haha.

But FSU is clearly this terrible team that doesn’t deserve to sniff the top 4. Got it.
