I remember thinkng with Shuler and company being coached by Fulmer we were finally going to beat them. Then add that tie to the blowout against Penn St. in the bowl was for-tellng of the future! Don't really think it was an upgrade.

This is very true, but Fulmer also had a hand in the talent that was recruited to the team he took over.

The "talent left for the next coach' side of the argument looks completely different if Johnny recruits these players, and a coach from outside of the program is hired to take over.

I'd personally like to see Majors and Fulmer both active around the program, with differences ironed out, and a UNITED Vol Family.
