My thoughts....

This is disgusting if it happened. If it was just an isolated incident it is disgusting. If it didn't happen, it's equally disgusting that it was reported.

Sweeping generalizations are made by both sides against the other. Democrats are all bleeding heart liberal socialists, and Republicans are all racist teabaggers who don't care about the little guy. Accusing one side of doing it without acknowledging your own side of doing it is hypocrisy at it's best.

It's a shame that the intellectual and rational reasons concerning the healthcare debate don't get reported because bogus stories like teabag protests gone awry and healthcare sob stories dominate headlines. It's dumbing down of politics at its worst.

they talked about this on Bill Oreily tonight about how they have gone through all the viedo and didnt hear anything and saw no one being spat on. No police reports were filed. However they did say that Congressman Cleaver is an honest person who probably woulndt make stuff up

Yep. It wasn't long ago that angry lefties were out of their minds about everything W. did. There were countless protests with gobs of bad behavior.

Why they are now so insistent on "civil debate" I have no idea.
