Proud of Joe

This guy has got to feel the most pressure of any qb in the country for his lack of ability and he played well enough for us to win and the defense let us down second half. Credit to Bama for getting it done. Go Big Orange!!!

He puts in this type of performance the rest of the season, we win out including beating Georgia in Neyland.

Gave us a JG fumble on a critical drive. Gotta 8 mill qb on bench. I'd get every dime I could out of him . Money up a wild boars ass

This was one of Milton’s better games I’ll give him that. Turnover was killer but he ran much better
Both QBs tonight are similar in alot of ways. Mobile but not extremely...cannon arms but not great touch or leading the receiver. Gotta protect the ball and get it out quick

Pretty good offense and defense in the first half. Joe probably left 8 points on the field, but sometimes that'll happen. Failed badly on both sides of the ball in the second half. Couldn't run it worth anything. Either way you just can't hang the need to get back into or win the game on Joe and this offense. They're not that this year. Joe definitely isn't.

Zero points in the 2nd half. A lot of that might be play calling. But a lot of that is failure to execute. The QB included. That throw at the end of our next to last drive where we failed to convert (after two inexcusable false starts) wasn’t close to anyone. You might throw an interception but at least put it where a receiver has a chance.

Oh well. This team just doesn’t have that “it” factor. No Tennessee team has since 1998. The 2001 team was close but still choked against a back-up LSU QB. Last year was nice but still not a championship or even really a chance for one after we found a way to just lay down and die against SCar.

Frustrating. Back to work, I guess. Let’s see how the rest of the season plays out.

Joe played well; but that fumble was on him. He was back there for a LONG time, his internal clock has to start going off at that point.
Yes but what happened to the quick routes slants, ins, outs that were ran in the first half so well. That play had all long developing routes and when your oline isn’t holding up play after play and you’re a qb trying to make a play that’ll happen. Go look at most of these sacks this year all of them had routes like that. Even last year with hooker we barely had stuff over the middle besides the “faux” pick play we always run and get penalized on. With bad oline play you need those short routes to get the ball out quickly. That fumble play had go routes and comebacks which take forever to develop.
