Proud of Peyton.

The defense held them to 2 field goals, and it was 8-0. The offense still didn't do anything

haven't seen anyone blame peyton.

all anyone i have seen do is comment about whether or not this is the making of a dynasty because seattle is a young team.

it was on NFL live after the game -- something about he has the most postseason losses, SB with mult int, blah blah blah

:inb4grammarpolice:

Seattle dominated the Broncos from the starting snap. They would have done this to any quarterback that played them tonight.

face it when peyton is up or leads he is great but put him under pressure or behind n he makes mistakes ie. turnovers..

he is-a great qb but not the best ever.. n thats a fact.

i/wish he would retire n get bored n come to tn n some form but wont happen..

Guess who holds the NFL record for most 4th quarter comeback victories? Yeah, the so-called "choker.":wavey:

I feel very bad for Peyton. This loss was the most dominating, one sided game I have ever seen in the NFL. The fact that Peyton had the most prolific offense in NFL history makes it even worse. He really showed his age in this game. I am totally baffled as to why the offense could not score more. Yes Seattles defense is great but so is Denver's offense.

I hate to say it but his legacy to a hit tonight. I don't like it but it's true. Peyton is the greatest regular season QB ever but his production drop offs in the post season cannot be ignored. He is one of the greatest to ever play and hopefully he can come back next year and make another SB run. If he doesn't, then it has been a great honor to have watched him over the years. I will always be a fan. Go Peyton!

I think a lot of it comes from his teams not playing physical enough in the post season. I've noticed a lot of his "talent" seems to disappear in the post-season as well. He's not completely blameless in all of his losses, but I do think he takes on too much heat. That was a team implosion overall tonight.

No doubt. The whole team played terrible and the loss cannot be blamed all on Peyton. Like I said hopefully its a wake up call and they can learn from it.

I am very disappointed. A win tonight solidifies Manning as the best QB ever but now critics will say he is the best regular season QB ever. They will also say Montana, Brady, Elway and even Favre are better.

Peyton is hands down the greatest regular season QB of all time. However he is just not the greatest of all time overall. So what? He is going to own all the major passing records when he retires. Being in the top 3 QBs of all time is nothing to be ashamed of.

the sad thing is, if Rex Grossman hadn't have been the half-ass quarterback he was, Peyton wouldn't even have one ring

If it wasn't raining it would not have mattered who the QB was, the Bears would have still lost. If that game was played indoors, you could have had Johnny Unitas as the. Bears QB and it wouldn't have mattered.

anyone who thinks this game is a dent in peyton's legacy is an idiot. when the team gives up over 40 points and has arguably the best pass defense ever, it doesn't matter who the quarterback is. this isn't basketball, where you play offense and defense and one player can dominate a game. the broncos were outclassed tonight. it was an embarrassment but to sit here and say that peyton isn't the greatest ever now is just stupid. i have never seen a qb do what he does. his teams are built to get quick leads and pass rush. that is not something he can control. when you play quality teams in the playoffs who can run the ball, a pass rush does not do anything and you aren't going to jump on a team 21-0 like you will in the regular season. defense wins championships and that is what happened tonight. peyton has played with a garbage defensive team his entire career and the couple years they played well he was in the super bowl. and as far as the "can't beat florida stigma" he has the UT record for passing yards against them and tennessee florida is nothing more than closure on the fact that fulmer was a great recruiter and bad coach and i would compare it to LSU bama right now. peyton is top 5 and in my opinion the best ever. rings in football aren't the same as other sports. marino is arguably the best ever and had such garbage teams he has no rings. there are plenty of terrible qbs who have rings and tom bradys 3 rings were heavily relied upon having a great defense. im done ranting now. but dont act like a qb can singlehandedly win a championship with a garbage and injury depleted team.

On a sepetate note.. Champ Bailey's is done... Call him Toast from now on.

Got burned deep, and on Denver's next offensive drive, Moreno fumbled which turned a 3rd and short into a 3rd and long, creating an obvious passing down, leading to a turnover.

Moral of the story: UGA sucks.

Four neck surgeries later, the man took his team to a super bowl. I am so proud, and I know he will get a lot of hate because he didn't play great tonight, and his playoff record is under .500 now. But the man is a champion, whether people want to admit it or not. He is a class act. He represents my university very well. And people who say he, "never beat florida", and "chokes in the playoffs" I would just like to remind you how it is a team game. Each NFL roster has over 50 players. While QB is very important, Peyton never had a chance tonight from the first snap on. The Broncos didn't play well tonight in any aspect, QB included.

All in All, Thank you Peyton for being a class act, and bright spot for all Vol fans. We are very proud of you. I know I'm speaking for many in this post, but I have faith in you that you will continue to shine both on and off the field.

You bet!
