We tried a couple times but they were weak takes. You’re not going to pump fake Broome. Just go strong and hopefully you get a foul and/or make it.

Ziegler hasnt finished a game with 40% or greater shooting percentage overall since MTSU before Christmas. He is 1-9 for 3 in his last two games and 7-22 in his last 4.

There is no universe where that guy should have a play designed for him to shoot a 3 at the end of a 2 point game. Outside shots are not his game. Once in a blue moon he hits one, but you should never decide the game with him shooting from deep if you can help it.

But there will be a game or two in the NCAAT where the chips are down and we need buckets. Will Chaz be that guy by March? Will Igor? They have the ability. But it’s a definite concern.

Yep, those 2 are the only 2 on the team to cut hard enough to get an open look, Gainey too but he fouled out already. If he had called the play for anyone else the clock would have run out with no one shooting an open look IMO.

I don't disagree and he did that on a bum leg so if he had been 100% we might have lost worse. But he also gets away with a lot. I don't know what the answer is but the problem with his type is he starts to just back into and push people and you never know how the refs will play it. If a guy is pushing back and bumping into the defender shoving him back imo the defender should be able to give it back but they usually call the defender. It makes it hard to watch sometimes.
