you forgot to address a couple of questions throughout the thread.
Maybe you missed them.
No, I just don't have the insight you do into why the Pussy Riot was really prosecuted.
Seems that when I ascribe a motive to the GOP, the TP, or to Romney, you believe I'm just making it up. But when you, with no support whatsoever, decide that this occurred because of Putin, it's because you just know.

From 1st paragraph of the article:
Three members of Russian female punk rock band Pussy Riot were sentenced to two years in prison Friday after they were found guilty of hooliganism for performing a song critical of President Vladimir Putin in a church.
Maybe your paralegal can read some for you.

Putin won reelection to the presidency in March in a vote that international observers said did not meet international standards.
The presidential election came just months after allegations of fraud in parliamentary elections prompted the largest anti-government demonstrations Russia had seen in two decades.
it's Putin, the former head of the KGB
More like Putin's Russia doesn't tolerate dissent.

actually, your claim that eliminating taxpayer funding of NPR results in the "dumbing down of America" is the single most ridiculous thing on VN in recent memory
What happens when the religious right, anywhere, takes itself too seriously.

I believe your full quote was that America should completely cut public funding for NPR, PBS and "the arts." If that's not dumbing down the country... you're just not a socialist.

Haven't heard that joke have you......get out much?
Wow, your true colors come out finally. A Socialist ambulance chasing lawyer through and through. They were imprisoned for anti-Putin protests. But you keep on knocking those of us that hide behind our guns and bibles. One of these days we will play cowboys and socialists...we haven't yet, but its a comin.
you're right, because a crucifix hanging upside down in a jar of piss is worthy of taxpayer support and contributes to broadening the minds of Americans.
