Put a fork in him - Riley Ferguson is DONE. [attempted sarcasm]

Your an idiot and the most dishonest poster I've seen in here in the 1.5 years since I've been on here. Not once have I said the kid will start or should start. Not once. I've only ever posted accurate information from whom 99.9% of Vol fans consider reliable sources about where the QB race has stood this fall.
You're part of the .1% dumbasses who refuse to believe THEIR words.

You've just disgracefully made crap up to try and support your obvious agenda of trying to run down and slander a 19 year old football player at UT. I don't understand your reasons but you clearly have them, we all see that.

Incredible how you refuse to address your lies about what Butch has said about Riley. You just made it up. Curious to see which player you're gonna target next ....Wharton? Berry Twins? TKJr? Bates? You're in Lexington right? Pretty sure you're a Kentucky troll, that's the only thing that makes sense.

BWAHAHAAHAHAHAAAA! MORE WHINING AND NOW NAME-CALLING. WOW! we used to run folk like you home from the school bus

His actual words were that Dobbs would have played that game regardless of Ferg being healthy or not. After the season Jones sad Ferg would have played at some point if not hurt. The Ferg guys have run with that to take it as Jones saying he was ahead of Dobbs which he wasn't according to Jones.

As for the UF game Deer Park actually knows what happened. Dobbs simulated Driskell for the scout team and RF did the normal game plan. Other weeks this was reversed. No matter what happened Ferg would not have played. Pig would have run it every time if NP and Worley both got hurt. Neither Dobbs or RF would have played that week not matter who went. Ferg fans took that and ran with that as some sign. Ignoring the actual depth charts and the coaches statements.

Show one depth chart or even a quote where Jones said specifically that RF was or is ahead of Dobbs. It doesn't exist.

seems to be a re-occurring thing on volnation along with some butthurt retractions, excuses, and now even name-calling when proven horribly wrong. it really is a shame

NOT!

I wish we had the internet during the Peyton Manning / Brandon Stewart freshman year. I would love to know if Volnation would be as polarized about a QB then as it is now.

An Orange and White game NEVER makes or breaks a player. Period. Riley might have had the roughest day, but it also sounds like the coaching staff were trying to relay a message with some tough love. Kudos to them.

From my personal perspective - I believe in Seniors, and Worley grew into the QB last year before the injury. He showed a lot on Saturday. Having said that, you ALWAYS play the guy who gives you the best chance to win.

Whoever wins the starting QB in the Fall, I know I feel really confident in the two guys behind him. Things are starting to look up on the Hill.

GBO!

My apologies. I shouldn't be so mean to guys like you. You clearly don't know any better. Bless your heart. #shortbus

From recollection and reports, reps were being split only going into the last week of camp. Up until that point, it's been even.

This is accurate. But there was evidently separation the last 3-4 practices since Worley and Ferguson were getting most of if not all the reps with the 1s.

but u continuously bring up this vandy game, in which a penalty by pig kept dobbs from winning. so on his worst night, we could've both won the game and went bowling. not to leave out the conservative playcalling

and one other thing....to those who said dobbs threw such and such before throwing his first td pass, remember the td drops from dobbs to josh smith. i guess those were dobbs fault as well.

So after all this talk about how Fergy fans are making up excuses... you make excuses for Dobbs?

Riley was with the 1's & seen different zones than other Qbs from "reports"

All the Ferg fans have are "reports". Nothing from the coach has ever said Ferg was ahead at any point ever. From what we have seen he is a turnover machine. That fits "reports". Here's a "report" for you.

For Ferguson, he only faced the first team defense twice. His two turnovers came against the second team defense. He has great arm strength and potential, but he has turned the ball over more than anyone else with those “catastrophic” plays that Butch Jones harps on so much.

And Ainge is making some bs about RF getting some special d thrown at him. He got what the others did and just couldn't handle it. TSR has been on the RF train and are making excuses. Ainge has had RF's family on the show and everything.

Without his leg injury he would have came in during the Alabama game.

Once again. When was this said? By whom? I have never heard Jones say that. Him saying Ferg would have played at some point doesn't mean it was that game. Jones said Dobbs would have came in regardless of injuries.

see, there it is. now that riley has struggled, you want the coaches to GIVE him something. this is how his supporters have been from the get-go. how about he EARN it? when he earns playing time, he will get playing time

you want to GIVE Dobbs the STARTING spot after 13 inconsistent practices and 1 good scrimmage.

while some of us are saying that Ferguson COULD be the SECOND TEAM guy. he was inconsistent, but was reported to have more good practices.

So Fergy can't have a bad day either? I mean. If he played against the JV team he probably would put up the same #'s

Who do you think he went up against? He had three sacks, a pick and a fumble vs the "twos".

While running the second team offense. When he ran the same teams as Dobbs did (1st team O vs 2nd team D) he scored 100% of the time

So its a different excuse now huh? You said Dobbs had a good day because of the "JV" d he face. I pointed out all of RF's bad play was vs the same d. Now its that Dobbs had the first team o more. So does that mean Dobbs is ahead since Ferg ran with the twos so much?

you mean the media is wrong now? AMAZING

i am willing to bet you've read this somewhere before but now since it fits dobbs it's wrong? c'mon man!

They dont cover our program. The media that we always refer to is guys that only cover our program. Its a news show. Theyre good at telling you things like DGB got in trouble... 3 or 4 days after it happens. And Brady Hoke is a gator.

Lol. I'm done.

Different people there.

Fergy ran the first team O vs the first team D more than Dobbs, so does that put him ahead?

You dont think its suspicious that Dobbs was the 4th QB to touch the field and never faced the 1st team D? And almost always ran 1st team O vs 2nd team D where theres a dropoff in talent. And almost always threw to the same receiver that just happened to be steps ahead of the defenders. Dobbs didnt throw a touchdown with the second team O either.

Yall are saying were making excuses while at the same time yall are making excuses. Had Dobbs had a better spring, he probably wouldve come out and ran the 1s vs 1s
