Qanon -The Storm

If anybody here does not believe the Chinese have infiltrated our gov then they need to do research. Labs, universities, Los Alamos, etc. They dang stole the W88 warhead design and Clinton gave the launch tech thru Loral. Those ICBM's are pointed at you and me.

This nation better realize they are a threat and our pols have put corporate interests over our own well being

The problem isn't acknowledging that they're a threat and have influence. I don't think anybody here has said otherwise. The problem is it's probably an unfixable problem.

How does a college professor know this to reveal it to the world?
Edit: I missed the bolded. Not sure unless it’s common knowledge in China by people affiliated with the CCP - which I believe this professor is by his commentary.

Well if you’re a “good” Chinese citizen, you do whatever the CCP tells you to do.

I assume if you don’t go along with whatever the CCP wants you end up in prison.

He admits in the video several times he doesn’t want to reveal too much because the event was being live-streamed.

You can watch it and judge for yourself.

Trade war doesn't change anything so why should we suffer? Make the most of an inconvenient reality
Who has suffered from the Trade War?

I know farmers did, but were getting aid from tariff revenues. I never saw any massive impact to our economy via inflation or lack of supply.

If you care about this country you really have no choice but to fix it. First, you need to root out the corruption inside our government. There is widespread unequal applications of the law inside our justice system from top to bottom. Until we can clearly have free and fair elections, this will never happen. If it isn't fixed, we lose the country.

Anything is fixable. If it's not, then that means people just aren't willing.
Exactly. And why aren’t they willing? With China specifically I’d guess it’s their own bottom line ($$$) 99% of the time.

American politicians, corporations and citizens have both wittingly and unwittingly sold out our country for Chinese money.

How do you think China became so prosperous?

I'm sure you have some interesting theories.

Regardless of how they became prosperous, there is nothing we can do to make them act right. We can't stop corporate theft. China can agree to crack down on it, and as soon as it happens they can say "we investigated and found nothing" and then where do we go from there?

Cutting off China is not an option. Politically, it just won't happen, and practically-speaking, it's just as impossible. Wouldn't that have to entail deporting all Chinese immigrants (at least all those in tech, academia, government)? We're not doing that. And that still wouldn't eliminate corporate espionage. There'd just be different tactics.

Economically, it would be devastating to cut them off completely in trade, and it's probably not happening politically.

So we can escalate a little trade war and pretend something's going to change, but it's not.

Face it, we're stuck with these problems. Our government isn't good at solving easy problems and this is incredibly complicated and delicate.

Reason why you'll never have cures for example cancer, there's too much money in it to completely cure it. The answer is to fight corruption across the board.

"Fight corruption" is not an answer that has any guarantee of success, whatsoever. Fight corruption how? By voting for the lesser of two evils? By posting on Volnation?

If only we had willing doctors and scientists, we'd have a cure for every disease known to man!
No we probably have a cure for a lot of diseases, but it's much more lucrative to find an almost cure. Watch TV for 20 minutes a day and you'll see 19 minutes worth of drug commercials which most are in slow motion and all are of idyllic families living the dream on a drug companies new almost cure for psoriasis, diabetes or arthritis.

First, you must have free and fair elections. Then you need to educate yourself and vote for the right people. Become politically involved.

Yeah, voting is going to fix it. Great idea, Lebron.

Were we supposed to vote for Trump to not fix the China problem or for Biden to not fix the China problem? Trump had 4 years. What was another 4 going to do? Was he gonna suddenly have a breakthrough idea? Were the rich, ruling, authoritarian elites in China going to acquiesce to the trade war despite feeling very little political or financial pressure?

That **** was all for show.

It’s been known for decades that their college professors and universities are the unofficial mouthpieces for the government. China uses them to make threats so that China can sit back and act like they have no part in what’s said in case another country responds to the threats.

Wow.

They were given, GIFTED $32 BILLION. Tariff revenues my ass.

If a democrat had in had been in office and done this you guys would have absolutely freaked the f*** out. Endlessly screeching about socialism...

But since it was trump, you whistle past the grave yard and ask moronic questions like "who has suffered from the trade war?"

Apologist for who/what?

For not being outraged by whatever "Chi-na" outrage they feel everyone should be clutching their pears over today. There boy just spent 4 years on his knees in front of Putin and suddenly they care about foreign influence. How refreshing... Must feel like home to them again.

This is almost as laughable as them starting to wag their fingers at the dems for being immoral again.

Do they receive and pass along instruction? Sure. Do they receive classified information they don't need and that the government doesn't want public? Almost no chance.

We did have free and fair elections, you just don't want to accept the results. I certainly don't see you guys whining about the R's that performed exceptionally well down ballot.

Trump was poisoning the well, claiming fraud and "rigged" long before the first vote was cast - he never intended not to undermine democracy by attempting to have votes tossed.

His minions have been shut down at every turn when facts came out, the denial is a cancer that has spread to social media and through his sycophantic pundits.

You folks simply see what you want to see, reality be damned.
