I always said things like "based on the reports". Yeah i might have said he could be ahead of Dobbs, but did i name him the #1 guy? No. I've always thought it would be Worley with the other guys fighting for #2

Though its not as clear cut as 1 vs. 1, here's the results of the supposed 1vs1…but players like AJ Johnson didn't play much…so as far evaluation its kind of hard to say anything significant.

So the biggest knock on dobbs coming out of the o&w game is he didn't face the 1st team d.
1. How is that his fault? CBJ didn't get him in against the ones so he took what he got and showed out.
2. Everyones argument is that the 2nd team d is a huge step down from the ones. If thats the case how did the come up with two turnovers against Riley?

With this breakdown and from what I saw its clear that Worley did what he needed to solidify himself as the starter.

Maybe if Dobbs would have done better throughout the Spring he would have gotten more reps against the First team defense in the Spring game??

Stewart won a lot of games at Ta&m. I am not sure we have a QB on the squad that is close to where Stewart was. Stewart just had the misfortune of being on the same team with Peyton. I think Worley starts with Ferguson and Dobbs following. Peterman did better than most expected. With any production from the OL. we will score a lot of points this Fall.

A lot of newcomers will have to play well for us to win 7 or more games.

LOL. Stewart was benched repeatedly and lost his starting job his senior year. The other qb was ineffective and replaced by Stewart at the end of the year.
