Quality Win Update for SEC teams

At least the Miami team he was hyping managed to keep the NC State and Virginia teams he was championing out of the ACC cellar.

Too bad Miss. St. didn't get a win over DePaul. Hell that would have put them in the tournament. Speaking of overhyping crap, where are all the other jackasses that agreed with him. I would say that overall, there were about 5 or 6 of us here that pretty much nailed down this season.

They're all over on Hoopsville planning their Pearl Worshipping party at Rooster's on Thursday night.

Is this serious?

I did not predict Tyler Smith getting kicked off the team. I did predict Elite 8...can you show me where you and 5 or 6 others predicted that? JP Prince playing well...where did you predict that?

Illinois 6-3 14-8
Minnesota 4-5 13-8
Michigan 4-5 11-10
Northwestern 3-6 14-7

These teams are "good" in the minds of those who claim the Big 10 is better than the SEC...Put aside the fact that 4 teams from the Big 10 are definitely going to the NCAAs...and that I am giving the SEC 5 including both MS schools, TN, Vandy and Kentucky, they are on here mocking these teams as being bad...

Florida 4-3 15-6
South Carolina 4-3 13-8
Alabama 3-4 13-8

Other bad teams according to these experts?

Charlotte (16-5)
Texas-El Paso (15-5)
Florida State (16-5)
North Carolina State (14-8)
Richmond (16-6)
Memphis (15-6)
College of Charleston (14-8)

A team where I was wrong, that is having a bad season (although they are missing their best player for much of the season in Koshwal and they did just almost beat Syracuse)
is DePaul (8-13)

Also 3-4 of the following programs are a step up for Lon Kruger from UNLV in the Mountain West according to his friend...
Air Force
Brigham Young
Colorado State
New Mexico
San Diego State
TCU
UNLV
Utah
Wyoming

I stand by my mocking of the idiotic statement that UNLV is the 5th best job in the conference.

I also do not think the other teams are bad. Those are not bad wins.

The Big 10 sucks, the MS schools fell apart and the SEC had less in the tournament. The Big 10 still sucks. Ohio State mins E Turner? Watching Wisconsin is physically painful...

The SEC is bringing in more tlent than the Big 10.

So, you were dead wrong on the amount of bids each conference would get, and your defense is "the Big 10 sucks?"

You did not participate in the debate, but it centered on whether the Big 10 or the SEC is a better conference. Several people on here said the Big 10 would have six and I said that was wrong. I said the SEC would have 4-6 in the NCAA tournament and that the SEC would have more teams than the Big Ten. Despite a horrid RPI, the last big Ten team got in giving them 5 and the SEC had 4 due to a put back by Cousins with half a second left...

So yeah, I was on the other end of that gaping chasm of prognostication.

The Big 10 does suck, I hate the style of basketball they play, I hate the fact that they foul on almost every possession and I hate looking at their unattractive fan base.

If you look at talent coming in, Matta and Izzo will keep rolling. Purdue does not have the horses to approach their year they had this year. Michigan should be better, but not a great team, Indiana should be better which means they should not be awful again...

LSU will be MUCH better, Florida should be significantly improved, South Carolina has lots of talent coming in and a very solid coach, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Kentucky will be fine (with UK in the biggest state of flux but you have to trust Cal's recruiting ability).

If you look at the 2010 and 2011 classes, the ACC should be the only conference to challenge the supremacy of the Big East, and the SEC should be clearly ahead of the Big Ten next year and for the next several.

The PAC 10 had one of the worst BCS conference years in CBB history, but the Big 12 looked strong.

The Big 10 sucks, the people on here who love it are losers. If fouls were called when the Big 10 teams committed them, they would be in the double bonus with 7 minutes left.

Considering the quoted post was made after the selection, I thought it was pretty obvious that this was about the reg season and referenced your silly assertion that the SEC would have more tourney teams than the Big 10. Of course, the rest of your crap makes me wonder if you have any idea what I am talking about. You may be the worst, most long winded troll in the history of this site. And guess what, I was still right more than you this year.

We may very well be losers, but at least we know what we are talking about. On a side note, I hear some sirens, you might want to spring into action.

It's funny that you still can't seem to understand that I told you that the B10 would have more teams in the tourney than the SEC and you said I was wrong. Guess what, I wasn't.

Since you wanted to bring it back up, let's look back at what I was right about.

Crawford to Memphis
Pinkston to Nova
Big 10 had more teams than the SEC in the tournament
SEC got 4 in
Arizona was bad
Depaul was really bad.
WVU advanced further in the tournament than Tennessee
Florida was nowhere near a Final Four team
Tennessee did not sweep Kentucky
Tennessee did not lose to Memphis
Minnesota made the tournament
Plus some random heres and theres, namely Richmond being very good.

Things I was wrong about:
USC blasted Tennessee
Tennessee got to the Elite Eight (glad to be wrong)
The Big 10 had one less team in than I thought
Harris signed with UT (glad to be wrong)
Prince had a pretty damn good year

Solid post.
You also said Florida would be undone by their lack of frontcourt toughness and that izzo was going to be tough in march, right on both counts.

I think Billy D is upgrading frontcourt talent by a lot. I also think by November 2010 you will be agreeing with me that the SEC is better than the Big 10.

I am not sure what a troll is, but I would guess it looks a lot more like a person who shows up to take shots over and over than a person who writes about basketball who makes predictions and asks others for theirs.

Crawford to Memphis and Pinkston to Nova....Wow...Next year I will read Zagsblog and repost it when someone is a lock. Then I will claim that I predicted that correctly.

Going through the season before a game has been played and giving game by game predictions is never going to be right, if it was I would live on a private island with my gambling winnings and I would buy every ticket in section 103 and give them to the Boys and Girls club.

Well, I tried to be nice but you don't want to let it go. I am more than willing to do so. And I will state again, there were many on the board (including you, at least in the case of Crawford) that claimed we led for Crawford and Pinkston. I correctly called both

It is certainly possible
