God is the same today as he was yesterday, is today, will be tomorrow and forever more.

Men change, God doesn't.
Some try to change the word of God to fit what is acceptable in today's society. What was wrong yesterday in the eyes of God is wrong today and will be wrong tomorrow.

It's amazing God sees nothing wrong with killing innocent infants in Egypt or wiping out mankind in a global flood.

If all the nonsense is true...it makes me feel even better that I won't be going to hang out with him after I die.

That's beyond idiotic!! This is the problem I have with modern "Christianity." A bunch of moronic rhetoric and outright lies. God brutally causes untold grief by killing babies to make a point?

True religion should never be about Him; it should simply focus on your own morality. Kant has some extremely profound thoughts on Christianity, ecclesiastical faith, and true religion. I would suggest a reading of Religion Within the Limits of Reason Alone.
