Does that mean God conforms to our opinion instead of us conforming to his? Does God worship man or does man worship God?
Thirty years ago Presbyterians condemned homosexuals to hell, now they are ordained as clergy. Did God change his view? The ones condemned before just outta luck?

God is the same today as he was yesterday, is today, will be tomorrow and forever more.
Men change, God doesn't.
Some try to change the word of God to fit what is acceptable in today's society. What was wrong yesterday in the eyes of God is wrong today and will be wrong tomorrow.

It's amazing God sees nothing wrong with killing innocent infants in Egypt or wiping out mankind in a global flood.
If all the nonsense is true...it makes me feel even better that I won't be going to hang out with him after I die.

God did those infants a favor, He called them home to Heaven while at the same time chastising the evil people in Egypt by taking away something they loved dearly.
It worked, got the peoples attention .... even ole rj is talking about it after all these years.
Next time God will take out mankind with fire and brimstone.

If all the nonsense is true ( as you call it)...You will be begging and crying to be able to hang out with him.

That's beyond idiotic!! This is the problem I have with modern "Christianity." A bunch of moronic rhetoric and outright lies. God brutally causes untold grief by killing babies to make a point?
Please provide a scriptural reference that God accepted those infants to heaven.

Have you ever heard of the age of accountability?
Try reading the Old Testament some time.
God was vengeful in the OT era.

Unfortunately I would have to agree, though not sure about any percentages. "Feel good Christianity" = it's all about "me" whereas real Christianity should be it's all about Him and everyone else.
True religion should never be about Him; it should simply focus on your own morality. Kant has some extremely profound thoughts on Christianity, ecclesiastical faith, and true religion. I would suggest a reading of Religion Within the Limits of Reason Alone.
