the cody blanc pass you talking about is worleys fault

No, just no...if u recall he didnt get to finish his throwing motion bc of the pressure coming at him, he had to shorten his motion and hit the helmet causing the injury to his hand/thumb..causing the shortness of the pass...it was still an easily catchable ball if Blanc would have used his HANDS instead of his STOMACH

To the op. It was a forward pass. Coach Jones said in his pressed that it was going to be a tight end screen.

Actually could be completed but the Worley ran the wrong route

Hilarious! I have no clue what Rajon was thinking. It was almost like last play of the game where everyone laterals. Act of desperation.

Funny I was at the Florida game and dude in the stand behind me said he was in same Economics class as Rajon and said Rajon was very very smart dude.

He may not be playing on Sundays, so good to hear about our players.

Real story. Company I worked for, AJ Suggs was a Sales Rep. He visited area as manager was interested in bringing him on our team. Being a Tennessee Fan we had a to make a stop at my house. I brought out a football and said "I have to take a few passes from a D1 passer" Amazing. I consider myself a decent athlete. But when you are taking passes from someone who has that level of skill it is absolutely amazing.

So what you want about AJ Suggs. The skill level at that position I imagine is kind of like evaluating a MLB pitcher, except that the strike zone is moving.

Before being critical of a pass ,there is a lot of components that go into it. But I agree that if that pass was called a completion, it probably would not have been overturn via the replay video I saw. Could have gone either way.

It was indeed the correct call, but one which could have been a catastrophe. I'd prefer he just take the loss of yardage rather than take the chance of turning the ball over.....I hope we never see that play again

I would wonder if this was the called play originally? Hand off to Neal, then he passes it forward to Worley? Curious to see what Butch Jones says about it.

On the postgame radio show with Kesling, he said that it was definitely a forward pass but it was not a called play. He said that he and Rajion were going to sit down for a little one on one to find out what in world Neal was thinking in that instance.

Blanc caught the ball at the 3. That was a no brainer with replay.

Also thought that Shaw fumbled on the play he was hurt. I could see arguing this one, but I think the ball was out before his knee hit the ground.

It was the smartest worst idea. I actually thk he was about to fumble and just chucked it at worley....but in honesty u should of lost because u cant spike the ball with under 3 seconds

If I understand the rule you can't spike a ball if the ref blows the wistle to start the play with 3 sec or less. You can spike it with less than three if the play was blown ready to play with more than three sec.

It is concerning he didn't have the wits about him to just hold on to the ball and take the loss of yardage. Could have gone a lot worse.

Yeah. I think that's why some guys run it and some pass it. :)

Shades of one of the Colquitt throwing that pass vs UF years ago.
