Nothing new this morning on the strength coach front. Mark Smith is not working camp today. He was not out there stretching prospects this morning. The rest of the strength staff handled that

85-100 linemen. today is a lineman camp. that is a good turnout for just linemen. many have offers and many are guys they wanted to evaluate/coach in person.

There are 4 camps this summer which high school students will attend.

While attending the Pahokee vs. Boyd Anderson Spring Game last Friday, University of Miami recruiting coordinator Clint Hurtt extended and offer to defensive back Raheem Buxton on the spot. The 6′2″ Buxton ran around making plays and looked quite athletic. He nabbed an interception in the first half of the contest.

Max Preps names St. Thomas Aquinas H.S. (Ft. Lauderdale) their preseason #1 team in the country. South Carolina Byrnes H.S. is ranked 2nd. The two teams meet on October 2nd.

Teddy Bridgewater from Northwestern H.S. (Miami) has stated that Georgia is his early favorite.

Miami Hurricanes have made a scholarship offer to Cherry Hill H.S. (New Jersey) quarterback Joseph Brennan. Brennan also has offers from Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Iowa, Wisconsin, Stanford and Louisville.

Pahokee H.S. Richard Ash has named his top six as Florida, Florida St., Mississippi, Tennessee, West Virginia and Minnesota. The Gators are tops on his list.
