West Lake High School’s (Georgia) Darius Robinson has been offered a scholarship by Michigan. The plays making cornerback now has 17 offers with Miami, North Carolina, Maryland, UCF, Kentucky, Duke, USF, West Virginia, Purdue, Middle Tennessee St., Mississippi St., Toledo, Southern Miss., East Carolina, Stanford and Wake Forest all vying for his services.

Highly recruited Elder H.S. (Cincinnati) TE Alex Welch has chosen Notre Dame. Welch, an admitted Notre Dame fan growing up, is also being recruited by Ohio St., Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Michigan and Michigan St.

Top rated Steamboat Springs H.S. (Colorado) quarterback Austin Hinder has chosen California as his school. Hinder is a top 100 prospect at most services that provide rankings. He said that he thinks he fits in well at California in their pro style offense. Hinder is also being recruited by Notre Dame, Florida St., UCLA, Colorado, Stanford, Nebraska, Alabama and others.

Tennessee landed Gulliver Prep H.S. (Miami, FLa) linebacker Ralph Williams. Williams was also being recruited by Florida St., Mississippi, Arkansas and FIU.

There’s a rumor circulating that Westlake Village H.S. (California) QB Nick Montana (son of Joe) has committed to Notre Dame. We should not be shocked by this if it’s true.
 
Lamarcus Joyner’s lists his six schools as Florida St., Ohio St., Florida, Georgia, USC and Tennessee. Says he likes Vols coach Lane Kiffen. Joyner says he’s lived in Miami for 18 years. He wants to get away, experience life away from Miami and grow as a person. Hurricanes are not on his list.
 
Confirming what has already been observed by many. Michigan St. head coach Mark Dantonio has stated that recruiting Florida this year is a big priority. Dantonio said he loves the defensive ends and linebackers that the Sunshine State produces and obviously the skill positions are rich and talent and tradition.

Willis, the No. 46 prospect in the country, also has Florida State high on his list, just behind Florida. Sources say the Gators currently lead for Willis, followed closely by the Seminoles. UCLA, Tennessee and North Carolina round out his top five. Defensive line coaches John Blake of North Carolina and Ed Orgeron of Tennessee have made Willis and Miller two of their top priorities. Willis hopes to visit North Carolina, FSU and Tennessee this summer
 
Miller, the No. 57 prospect in the country, lists Florida State as his current leader, followed closely by North Carolina. California, Tennessee and Oregon round out his current top five, with the Vols having the best chance to move up the list because of Orgeron. Miller hopes to visit FSU, UNC and Tennessee this summer, and he wants to take a West Coast trip if he can fit it in.
 
the Trojans have backed off wide receiver Markeith Ambles from McDonough (Ga.) Henry County and pulled his offer.

haha, well they very well may be right in this case. I mean, let's just say UT was the team who was rumored to pull Ambles scholly. I don't think we would all be posting that his scholly had in fact been pulled if we didn't know something...

No....We would never spread unsubstantiated rumors like

"USC has offered Scroggins"

or

"Mark Smith is out as S&C coach"

(although admittedly, there might eventually be truth to both)
 
Nothing like the recruiting battles of late May. This is going to be a FUN FUN recruiting season to follow!
 
4 star DT Evan Hailes was about to pull the trigger for UT............but with 4 DL commits the numbers are starting to worry him. He has also decided that he won't go to Alabama.

Look out for LSU.

are you reading this somewhere? only 2 DT commits which is his position. he better get on board soon or he'll be SOL.
 
That doesn't make any sense given LSU has a whole bunch of DT's on their roster.
