What in the hell is causing the slowdown with Interstate traffic in Chattanooga? Over 1.5 hours from the 75/24 split to the bend with no wrecks and no active road construction.

The 75/24 split was rebuilt. It’s being done in phases. Some genius decided a good place to stop phase 1 was by dumping 3 lanes off of 75 onto 24 on an entrance ramp that merges in, instead of continuing the lanes for a mile or so before the choke down.
It’s a Fing nightmare errday. good news is they start the next phase in about a year.

Next time take 2a to battlefield bypass to Roseville blvd then back on 24. It will bypass all that crap
